My arm is broken. I've been on Percocet 5s. I'm out, and have a doctors appointment. After missing a dose yesterday and today, I've felt like shit. Intense naseau, soreness, lethargy, just overall shittiness. I'm guessing this might be mild withdrawal. Anyway, I want to give the opiates a rest for a while. What other painkillers are there I could ask for? And are there any that might keep me from feeling the effects of withdrawal?

Taking a small amount of opiate to stop withdrawal symptons is only delaying the inevitable. You will eventually have to deal with them. As for other types of pain meds, there arent many. NSAIDs are about it. Your doctor might put you on vioxx or celebrex. These work by inhibiting the cox 2 enzyme which facilitates pain signals from nerve synapses.

I believe Ultram is an opiod-ype analgesic, should have nowithd. effects. Personally, they make me feel weird, not good, not bad, kinda sideways.Check RXlist.com

when the fuck did you break your arm? just get more opiates/opioids and slowly lower the dose. or use any benzodiazepines to counteract the withdrawal. alprazolam seems to work the best.

Well, I just decided to tough the pain out. I got some Ambien so I can sleep though. I'm feeling rather blah right now, but not as bad as earlier.

Instead of the oxys try some valium. Not xanax cause it doesnt give u that eurphoria fellin that opiods give. But if the doc wont give u any valium id go with reffer and alcohol in combination to get ur mind of the pain.

valium isnt a painkiller and the dudes docter wont just prescribe him to him that easy,you could get 20mg contins from a medicial docter before youde get any type of benzodiazepine,medicial docters arent supposed to prescribe benzos unless the person is having seizures or some other type of serious medical condition

Dude don't switch to ultram you will get addicted to it. I know, I stopped taking it four days ago and I feel like shit(hope it dosn't last much longer). I only took it for two weeks too.

Yeah, I was only on these Percocets for two weeks. I had no idea physical dependence occured so quickly. My stomach feels like shit, and my arm hurts now that I'm not on any painkillers. Fuck.

you're right on everything but the no withdrawl part. well it wont cause any with short term use like you need for pain, but recreationally in high doses i had a pretty shitty withdrawl.
