with the lightbulb vaporizer do you chop or cut up your weed before you put it in the bulb to be vaporized? or can you just rip off a little chunk off your big bud and throw it in there and smoke it? if its in bud form will all of the THC be vaporized because its not all touching the glass? thanks.

trey day got the right idea with the candle suggestion. i also used the empty shafts (heh heh) from stick pens instead of the straws. just seemed more stable in my opinion...

you will taste a bit while exhaling. it shoudnt burn at all, and its done when it turns brown and no longer has a weed odour

How long do you hold the flame under the bulb and I never saw vapor just smoke from leaving the flame under it to long.

The smoke is the vapor.

I usually hold it over the flame for about 30 secs until I see something. Put it as close to the flame without touching the flame. Then the first hit is usually the biggest. I almost choke everytime, you just have to force yourself not to cough or you just messed up the biggest hit. Then after that, I just let itbuild, then slowly inhale it. And I hold these hit for about 12 seconds.

Im not flaming you but you must be doing it wrong,because the whole point of a vaporiser is not to cough. Because it is supose to not harm your lungs, therefor no cough

It doesn't harm your lungs, it just sort of tickles them... atleast thats the way it was for me.

i coughed on the vapor and i NEVER cough anymore when i'm smoking my usual blunts (which are pretty harsh on the lungs). i was extremely suprised! i figured it was a reaction to the pure thc...really unsure tho.

I just did it and left the flame under till I saw smoke, does the vapor look like smoke.I have to know because the reason I use this is I play sports and I dont want my lungs to be damaged by smoke. Thanks pyro_guy187

It's only because the air is hot to me and that's why I feel like I need to cough. Hot air can irritate the lungs also.

I think it's from the hot dry air...

i put a drop of water in the vaporizer before using it, it helps a LOT.

ur supposed to keep the flame about an inch away from the bulb, so u don't burn the bulb and if ur worried about wasting lighters, just use a candle. I think i might try to construct one, but i was wondering... do u plug the second tube as its burning and let go of it as u inhale?

It still works. When I first made one, it was wet because I had to wash out the dust and glass.
