So lately I've been considering going to a rave and I wanted to hear some of your opinions on raves and ravers in general.

First off how many of you have actually been to a rave and did you have fun? How many of you are ravers and rarely miss a rave near you? What was your most memorable rave and why? Another question I have is what is the girl guy ratio at most raves, it wouldn't be a cock fest or anything would it?

I've done ectasy a twice now and I've decided the next time I roll I want to go raving. Anybody know any good raves in the midwest part of the country, i live in Kansas. Also what do you guys do to prepare for a night of raving, if anything. helpful replys would be greatly appreciated.

Dude raves are very cool, i used to be a candy kid, but now im not but still go to raves ocasionally and roll my ass off... there is love, music and lights and everything you can ever dream off...

Your first time, you'll probly just sit in the corner and say hellow to random people... next time you'll be in the action when music takes controll of your body... it's great...

every rave usually has an after party, where small groups of people take advantures to different parts of cities... its a great way to meet new friens and shit...

This guy i met at the last rave, imed me today, and asked me if im going to matrix club crystal in brooklyn... he said he'll hook me up with 2 sticks if i hook him up with a nice pill...

E for two stix? I don't know what you pay for one pill, but where I am in Brooklyn a 'nice pill' usually costs me 13-15. And stix cost five. So I'd be losing money, not sure about you. lol

P.S. had some dilaudid and some nugs so I'm not sure if this post makes sense.

I've been raving a couple times, and it was fun! I'm into electronica music, though. The girl to guy ratio where I went was... pretty even, although I'd have to say there were more guys than girls.

Each time raving the only drug I did was caffine. I never had drugs.

I've been to about two dozen raves but the last one was 3 years ago. In the mid to late nineties the scene was awesome. I never experienced any violence or bad vibes at any party, just bumping music, good drugs and fine girls in "baby doll" outfits. I stopped going because at the last one I looked around and realized everyone was so fucking young. The scene has gotten younger and younger as it has grown in popularity, I hear it's still cool though if the promoters know what their doing.

- Be sure to drink plenty of fucking water before, during and after. I have seen quite a few people collapse from heat exhaustion/dehydration at raves.

raves suck nowadays,full of fucking wannabe neo hippie faggot kids who know shit about shit.

when raving first hit the scene in 89ish it was alright but now its just downright fucking gay

I'm not sure i've heard of Ulysses but then again i don't know many cities that aren't around wichita. I know a few chics out in Independence but thats about it.

I'm in Perth, the All Ages Rave Scene is massive here.

Suffice to say, it's absolutely fallen apart and in tatters at the moment - little 14 year old girls running around gurning off their tree and cock teasing older guys, candy kids that fight, taggers, etc

I remember the newbie feeling of raving, that feeling was awesome. Everything was wonderful, and different, and you made oh so many new friends.

I'm a jaded raver now, and it sucks balls.

Interesting sidenote: The Rave scene degenerated when meth became big here. Too many angry methheads going along to cause fights and score MORE meth.

thats why I stop going to most raves, but here in NY some old school ravers have small raves and have the word passed to only good ravers. To me raves were my way to stop fighting but a$$holes are around. why are there so many young girls out now I was talking to this one girl and found out she was only 13 but she look 19, I thought I was a year young then her!

I have never been to one, but they look fun as hell, and i'm sure on E, it would be 3 times as fun. And also, like Blakwhole said, keep hydrated (sp?) cuz a lot of ravers collapse from heat exhaustion

Fuck man, I'm just getting to the age where it's about to be taboo to fuck young girls. Im gonna go get some drugs and some young girls at the next Vancouver rave. I'm not gonna let this age pass me by.

I haven't been to a rave before but it's about fucking time. I just hope there's not too many meth heads there because I've interacted with meth heads before and they're bad news. They wanna fight for no fucking reason.
