Morphine Trip Report
Well, I was bored last night, so I opened up a bottle of 60mg tabs of Morphine sulphate....
10:45PM-I took 1 60Mg tab orally. Immedaitly after I took the tab(Like within 10 minutes) I felt happy. I am assuming that this is a placebo affect because the drug requires at least 15 minutes to work.
11:30PM-1 Glass of Black Swan Chardonney(sp?).
12:15-12:50PM-Intense heart beat, so much that I could hear it. Lots of energy, But I was in bed trying to sleep, so it did almost nothing. A very scary feeling, like my heart was gonna jump out from my chest.
1:10AM-I fell into a restless sleep.
9:00AM-Woke up very dizzy, but can feel pain(When I tryed codiene, i took it about the same time, and the next day, I could not feel much pain.). No dry mouth, and no headache, but my head sorta feels "full". But its a very light feeling.
Well, there you go. Any comments? Was what I experienced normal?
P.s. Thank you to Das_troll for all your help and support on IRC.

Re: Morphine Trip Report
60mg is alot for a first try and alcohol doesnt mix very well with opiates unless you really know your personal limits and know that you shouldnt even have more than 2 drinks while on an opiate high. the alcohol is probably what made you pass out, normally youll get a kind of tired nod/buzz going and not fall asleep right away but im guessing the alcohol made it kick in too much for you.

Re: Morphine Trip Report
I am currently doing 270Mg.[3-90,s] of Avinza,a time release morphine, along with 5, #10 0xycodone[10/650], all by legal script for back problems. My tolerance is obviously off the charts, as I feel no "buzz" what-so-ever from this dosage. I do feel the extra energy,"got to do something" effect, but if acted upon, I,d be in worse shape than I,m in now. Granted, I,m taking 2 more of the oxy,s than I,m supposed to, but wtf, I use cwe to keep on the safe side. Like your self, I find it difficult to achieve "natural" sleep, so I throw some Melatonin into the mix, and this seems to work. After about a half hour or so, my vision goes quadruple, and my attention span[I read every evening before attempting sleep] goes to shit. The only other effect of the M that I get is a knot-like feeling in my gut, which goes away shortly. Hope this helps.

Badly stated. What I meant was that I will have the desire to do some thing along the line pf physical labor that my Doctor has strictly proscribed. I just can't wrap my mind around the fact that I,m un able to do[without serious damage]things that I.ve done all my adult life.

I was gonna stay up later, but I felt nothing, so bed seemed like a good idea...

I'm not sure if your referring to my situation. If so, these are the facts: I injured myself more than 20 yrs. ago, and do to yrs. of self medication, pretty much ignored what I'd done. After quitting alcohol, over 7 yrs ago, all my physical problems hit me like a sledge hammer. It was,nt until at least 10 mri,s and assorted test that I was put on heavy meds, and this was after a course of epedurals.
So ,no, I didn't waltz into an er and get my choice of drugs, an believe me, I,ve been out 2 days, and the combo of pain and withd. is pretty hellish. when you've walked in my shoes, you can comment on my life.
