Everyone involved in the flooding is an idiot, and should be banned. I have no idea why Zok chose to spare you - it certainly cannot be because you're a "good intelligent poster," as your little stunt completely disproved.

Dude, if you think less of me that's your buisness, but don't go saying I'm costing Jeff money, and totse is running slow because of 31 new topics. In fact it's not even like those topics had much in them, there were maybe 2 out of the 31 that had over 4 responses. Do you know how many topics are started in TOTSE daily? Neither do I, but I'd bet it's a lot more than 31, and I seriously doubt Jeff is going to have to fork over very much cash because of it, he spends like 1000 $ a month on bandwidth.

Think of all the posts that accumulate in a month. Now divide 1000 by that, and you'll understand that I'm not costing him very much extra money at all. You had my support as a mod too, red raven. But now I just think your a dick.

I just spent two hours deleting threads in Spurious from a immature fuck who thought spamming was cool. Two hours I will not get back. It took two hours to delete all the posts because Totse took 40 full seconds to load up the spam thread and to delete it. It took 40 seconds because while I was attempting to stop this asshole, you were orchestrating a flood in Half Baked.

Totse gets more than 31 topics a day, but it does not get more than 31 posts in an hour multiplied by how many other people you convinced to flood (3, 4?). Impact alone had two full pages of threads, which is much more than 31. So, yeah, I'd have to say posting a grand total of almost 150+ bullshit threads over an hour on top of the normal Totse load is going to cost more than a few pennies in wasted bandwidth.

But, whatever. Zok spared the ringleader and banned a flunky - hopefully there is some logic behind that, but I respect Zok's judgments.

I was not around for the beginning of the flooding, impact had many more threads than MonkeyBoxers had in HB so I assumed impact was the one who was pushing the flood. Naturally I banned him. Later, I found out that Monkey was the one behind the whole thing or at least claimed blame for it (which he said in a thread in HB).

I am not going to ban Monkey because I know he's never going to do anything bad again. He's been posting on totse long enough that the community is important to him. I think Monkey also realizes how lucky he is and that he'll probably never have a second chance like this again (which he definitly won't), therefore he'll shape up.

I wish that everyone who made these posts meant it and lived up to it.

1) Are you an idiot? What you did in HB was the exact reason it took me two hours to deal with him. Believe me, if I was not capable of moderating, they would not have asked me to moderate Spurious.

2) Again, are you an idiot? Unless Zok was wildly exaggerating, he deleted TWO PAGES of spam just from impact. Each page hold 25 topics. 25 + 25 = 50 bullshit threads from one person.
