There real. But its not the same...its alot less pornounced and doesn't happen every time they have sex and shit like that.

He might also be referring to the fact that a lot of girls fake it... (or so I hear, lol)

I have never met a girl who actually squirts (well, not anyone that talks about it at least) but I can tell you from the girls I have gotten off that it ranges from just being wetter than normal to having thick white goo running down her thigh and anything in between.

It's not something I'd spend too much time thinking about as it seems to be one of those things that just varies from woman to woman.
