where have you been all my life? well atleast the last 2 months...

Opus summed it up.. now I am in a simmiliar position.. well kinda.. its been awhile now.. even tho it seems like it wont get better.. its gotta.

I've found the best way to get over a breakup is to start seeing other girls as soon as you feel comfortable doing so, or go out and have a party with the guys. It takes your mind off the old girl and starts to fill the void at the same time. Sitting around, thinking about it etc just makes it worse.

I disagree with Opus. The vast majority of the populace will die alone, cold, and bitter. Probability states that you will most likely be among them.

Even if what you said was the case (and, as nothing more than animals, I disagree), this is not the time for "the glass is half-empty". I think that everyone can and will find someone to spend their life with; he's going to be fine, and he is going to find someone else.

Don't listen to the haters man. The statistical probability of you finding and marrying a great girl that makes you happy is overwhelming. Take comfort in that. Again, I hope you understand how much of a "pas grand-chose" this is.

it just hurts. She said she cant have a relationship right now. With anyone that is. Shes too stressed with college and school and sports and she said she wants to be my friend.

Yeah man, I know how you feel, it's been about a month since me and my girl split, we're trying hard to be friends now, and Opus' advice is very good, you should take it, but I do have one thing to add, something my friend told me when me and my girl ended. She told me to remember that the only person that will ever be with you and love you for your whole life is yourself, and that no matter what happens you have yourself to lean on. It may sound stupid and obvious, but it really cheered me up and made me feel good. And whenever I think about what I had with my ex I just remember when my friend told me and it makes me feel better. Hope that helps?

I just recently had to go through the same situation you explained, with her just not wanting to be in a relationship, and it was one of the most painful things I had to go through. And on top of that, she was hinting at expecting me to not date anyone else until she was ready, which a few months ago I would've done when I was so goddamn dumbstruck with love. But you'll get over her in due time. Take all aspects of her out of your life, every note written, every picture,anything that reminds you of her.Time heals it all.And trust me on this, she isn't the only one out there for you.
