Default OMG,.. this makes my head hurt.

Hello...

My girlfriend turns 18 in september. Our plan was that she ws going to move in with me and my mom. She wanted to move in here on her 18th birthday.

Now today she tells me on the phone, that she doesn't want to move in with me until I have my own house. I turn 17 this august. Now I guess I gotta buy a house before september.

Totse WTF?! I love my girlfriend so much! But I wasn't planning on moving into my own house until I was 18.

While my GF live with her family we can only see each other once a week. So Now I have between now and september to come up with $50k so I can buy a cheap city house.

Should I go out and buy a house? Well the question is more of what would you do in my situation?

You probably wont be together that long. Try being a little realistic here, youre 16 for christ's sake.

Dont play your life around a girl, and dont spend that much money on something that probably wont last.

ok then, lets assume that we will be together for a long time. I think we will because we never fight or argue. Everything is perfect for us.

Ehh... Good luck with that. It might seem like that, but it just sounds like you're more likely to run into a catastrophic failure.

She is using you to get a place of her own. A place big enough so she can tolerate living with you. I can understand that she wants to get away from both her and your parents. What I can't understand is how this becomes you buying a $50K house, which you will have to spend another couple $1000's furnishing. Then spend $100s each month to pay for utilities and the crappy basic cable you might not even be able to afford after paying for everything else.

Jesus fucking Christ. No one is worth that. Especially if they are fucking 18 years old and will leave your ass at the drop of a dime. Don't fool yourself. As soon as an older guy comes around with money and the ability to get her into nightclubs and buy her alcohol, she will drop you before you can even say "Wait... what?" I say you make a preemptive move here buy fucking her until you get tired of her. Then start dating her best friend who doesn't have as much of a problem with staying at home with the parents.

Fighting is a sign of a healthy relationship.

Fighting all the time, however...

I'm willing to bet that you two are enamored with each other, and it's not as serious as your mind has tricked you into believing.

It's all about those brain chemicals, ya know?

Don't buy a house. You'll just be fucking yourself over. Oh wait. I shouldn't even be giving you advice as to whether or not you should buy one, since I know you can't because you're only 16.

look man, she doesn't want to live with you. the "i don't want to move in with you til you have your own house" thing is BS. Think logically, your infatuated. Be a man and stop thinkin you're in love; she'll leave u if you keep it up.

Tell HER to buy HER OWN house, then YOU move in.

I think it's alot better that way
