Those.. made up sad stories they use to get more attention from you, that you know is obviously a lie. But you went along because.. I don't know how to word the reason.

Haha yeah...
The only reason I didn't say anything is because I know they'd get all defensive, and it'd become a big arguement, and they would never admit that they were lying. Too much pride.
