In a week or so I'm off to visit my father who I haven't seen in a year.

Last time I went down to visit, I came back to my girlfriend who was so excited to see me and whatnot, you know, after two weeks of not seeing each other, it's natural.

Well, she went to some thing with a friend of mine and a week later she said "God told me we shouldn't be together."

Now, you could say I loved her, but I think I was just a stupid young guy. Anyways, I've made a pact with myself never to change myself for anyone.

Back on topic, I come back, she says that, then a week later I find out she's been dating my "friend" a week prior to our split. She's now married to him.

This has happened twice to me in the past, every time I journey South.

My current girlfriend is all lovey-dovey towards me, and part of me thinks she'll do the same, but another part thinks she'll remain uh, "faithful" if you may, considering I was her first. Who knows?

Eh, I just needed to get this off my chest and wanted input as to if I'm in the right to be cautious and paranoid that the same will happen.

I know not all women are alike but I have it in my head that all the women I've been with are.
