GF acting strange
for the past week my gf has been acting really weird
i've called her a few times a day, she hasn't answered once, i've left her messages, both text and voice, to which she hasn't responded once
Finally tonight came where we had planned an outing a few weeks ago so i can actually see her
i ask her what's been going on and she says she's on new meds and will pass out after a certain hour of the night
at the same time she opens her phone and theres this random guy as her background, i ask to see it and she becomes monstrously defensive over it, and clutches to the phone the whole night.
As well when i picked her up, the usual reaction is a big hug when she see's me, then a long stream of kissing, etc. once we're out of the house and in the car. Didn't happen tonight...Instead she got in the car, awkwardly asked how things had been, and just asked those really awkward filler questions where you know something is wrong but you don't wanna talk about it
As well she's also randomly informed me she's going to a concert on saturday with a friend of mine
She says the guy on her phone did it as a joke and that she's been too lazy to change the picture (happened like 3 days ago) and that he has a girlfriend, and isn't that attractive.
I don't know if it's me being over-reactive, her just not wanting to be with me as much, or her cheating on me, or maybe these new meds (She really is on new ones)
Any thought's?

So when you asked her if anything was wrong, what did she say?

Re: GF acting strange
It kinda sounds like her interest in you has dwindled and the shameless cheating part may follow suit. Or. You could just hope that these new meds are the wrong suit for her, since they can go to the other end of the spectrum when it comes from desired results.
It'd be nice to tell you that you're being paranoid but everything doesn't add up in your favor.

What meds? Are they new? Has she recently upped her dosage?
Did you leave it at that?

Re: GF acting strange
Okay, here's what you do. Invite her to your Chili Con Carnival that you will be holding the following weekend.
You said she's going to a concert with a friend of yours, right? Tell that mutual friend that you plan to have a pony, bite off her penis. You will have to assume that your mutual friend tells her that you have a trained pony to bite off her penis. Being the little bitch that she sounds, she will probably get her new male friend to go and retrieve the pony from your local farmers farm.
What he doesn't know, is that you have previously tipped the farmer off about ferocious pony killers in the area. He walks right into your trap, and just like that, he has been taking care of.
Quickly and quietly, go to the farm and retrieve the body of your ex shemales new boyfriend. This is where it gets messy. Chop him up and stir him into your Chili.
Now when this hoe arrives at the Chili Con Carnival, she thinks she has you all figured out. So she has made a little recipe of her own. She will have secretly squirted her STD-infested juices into her Chili.
This is the big moment, sit down at the table with her. She will force you to try her Chili, you do the same. She will think you now have contracted STD's from her Chili. She will laugh and think she got you back for the pony trick you had up your sleeve. That's when you reveal all. About how she is eating her dead lover. That'll teach that bitch to ever mess with you again.
Trust me, it works every time.

Re: GF acting strange
yea
i suppose it pays to mention that her previous meds had a similair affect as these only not crazy
previously they just turned her into a work-o-holic for like 3 hours, in which she finished like, the weeks worth of work. Her shrink perscribed these new meds at the request of her mother i believe, cause her mom has been going crazy over the fact that my gf plays WoW and we all no, girls are not allowed on the internet
I basically said tonight after dropping her off at her place that we were going to talk tommorrow about everything, i'm just trying to figure all that crap out, we're due to go to Colorado for a week of snowboarding week after next, so i'm trying to handle this extremely delicately, so i can keep my wonderful GF, and the money well spent on the prep for our trip
EDIT: I need to learn how to not put the word "like" in places it doesn't belong

Well if that doesn't work out, the Chili Con Carnival sounds like a decent plan.

Re: GF acting strange
Basic game-plan for the talk with her:
1) Whats been up with no contact, do you not want to be around me anymore, or as much as you used to? If you're working when i call, why can't you just pick up the phone and say you're busy?
2) Whats with this sudden concert coming out of nowhere? (Mutual friend is a push-over, i'm not worried about him as much as i am about her actually going to a concert that night instead of somewhere else)
3) Go from there

Re: GF acting strange
Anyway, here's what you do. You sit her down. The convo should go something like this:
You: Baby, what's the matter? I know something more than the meds is making you upset.
Her: Nothing!
You: Nothing? You call me dumping you nothing? Oh btw you're dumped, you are fatter than you think and your cunt is loose and smelly.
Her: ZOMG pwnt

Re: GF acting strange
Yep, it's the basic Cartman's Revenge plot outline from the Radiohead/Scott Tenorman episode. Nonetheless, brilliantly recited and edited.
If I were you, OP, vash the 3rd? something like that... I would get a new girlfriend. Probably right now. The simple fact that she'd rather go to a concert with someone else instead of you, well, that's that.
I do know that in reality, however, it's harder. You have more things to worry about. More than likely it's the ski trip which is holding you back from cutting her away, and only that.
Think about this. Is it possible her behavior could continue on the ski trip? If so, wouldn't this ruin it for you? Secondly, it's possible you could meet somebody else while up there. Having her around will squash that. Thirdly, and finally, would you want her there if she's fucked somebody else.
Of course, the meds could have something to do with it. But the disinterest in you is startlingly alerting. If that's alertingly startling enough for you.
Oh, and she's lying about the wallpaper. Well, actually I take that back. Regardless, if she respected you she'd take it down.

Re: GF acting strange
If she's making you unhappy, it's time to move on.
If she's messing about with other boys, as it sounds like she's doing, it's time to move on.
One thing I learned after alot of unhappiness is that no one is really worth you being unhappy and hurting about for a long period of time.

Re: GF acting strange
If i were you, i'd just tell her to stop being so secretive and tell you what's going on, or it's over. don't just sit by and let her fuck around with you, you need to find some way to get her to tell you what's going on. perhaps using the "we need to talk..." line would get her attention?

Re: GF acting strange
If you ever think something is wrong in a relationship, there typically is something wrong. Dump her ass. I've had over 8 years of relationship experience with women. I've learned one thing: Dump the bitch if she gives you an ambiguous (unclear/cloudy/shady/etc.) response to a question you ask AND you think something IS wrong.
This is also known as the passive-aggressive side of women. Women are psychologically different than guys because of the way they communicate. Of course, I'm a psychopath who studies psychology, so women act bitter toward me a good amount of the time. AKA: I don't let them bullshit me.
Simply dump her and tell her you don't think you two communicate well in the relation and that you're not feeling the same vibe as before. If she asks what vibe that is, say you don't know. Done deal. Dump her. Trust me. Dump her.
I don't even bother with the "we need to talk" talk anymore. Each time I've done that, the girl says, "I'm cheating on you, and I'm dumping you." Or something vary similiar. Otherwise, they don't say that, but they do dump me.
Dump her before she dumps you. If you see her single a couple weeks later, ask her out again.
Be subtle in dumping her. Don't be rude. Be calm and generous. Be a gentleman. That way, you can walk out of the relationship with style.
And if she is with a guy after you dump her, then something was apparently wrong.

So...it seems the consensus is dump her...or at least play hard to get. Let her come to you. You've persued her...if she hasn't/doesn't respond...

Re: GF acting strange
I've called her and left a message basically taking a serious and final tone, a sort of "either you call me, and we figure out what the hell is going on, or I'm done with this, people in relationships talk more often than every 3 days, even if they are busy with work"
I'm really hoping for a brighter outcome than what seems to be majority opinion, doubt it will happen though.
