my girlfriend's in acapulco for spring break, and i want to order some flowers to her hotel (for her birthday tomorrow).

i looked at some online vendors, but they're all a bit outrageous, especially considering this is mexico.

any ideas on how i should go about this? maybe call the concierge or something?

Call the hotel she is staying at and tell them what you want to do, there is a good chance (if it is a nice hotel) that they offer a service for you in house or that they can order the flowers from a local florist on your behalf.

Sorry but i can tell you from experience after having worked in the floral industry that the only way this is going to work out at a decent price is if the hotel is willing to help you out.

When you do things through FTD you have to realize that alot of what they do is in bulk which adds to YOUR cost when you arent. And second everything that you do through FTD had to be brought into the country (sucks if youre trying to send to mexico) then your order is processed through a FTD supported florist and then shipped out. Flowers are expensive already, and trying to do something like that online or through ftd... youre gonna get raped.
