Are women really attracked to rugged men?
"Handsome means he looks at himself all day in the mirror, rugged means you look at him."

Re: Are women really attracked to rugged men?
I find that alot of woman like older men -- men who are mature and have to ability to take care of themselves and others. That might mean rugged, it might just mean that they have gone past that point in there life where they obsess over stupid shit.

Re: Are women really attracked to rugged men?
I'm rugged.
if by rugged you mean greasy, smelly, unshaven, with an utter lack of disregard for any and everything.
and by smelly I mean well, BO and weed.
oh yeah, bitches love me because I'm rugged enough to be homeless and travel all across the county late at night. fighting off coyotes and mexicans with naught but a flashlight.

Re: Are women really attracked to rugged men?
Like all threads like this, where a hopeless, loveless teenage boy asks "are women attracted to x" in the hope it means women will be attracted to him, the answer is....
some are.

It is true. Mexicans are afraid of flashlights.

Re: Are women really attracked to rugged men?
If my boyfriend spent more time infront of the mirror on a morning than I do, I'd get worried.
I don't want to be dating a faggot.
So yeah, rugged is the way forward.
Not unclean, but rugged. There's a difference.
Unclean - insanely stinky, unwashed.
Rugged - scruffy but hygienic

If you mean the difference between some smooth faced sillly little boy who looks like he's hardly through puberty like orlando bloom compared to some ugly stubbly motherfucker like bruce willis, then fuck yeah.

Re: Are women really attracked to rugged men?
Zonko hit the nail on the head.
Wheras I'm somewhere in between rugged and pretty boy - I'm tall and built fairly broadly and most guys have told me they would do anything not to have a fight with me, I get told by some girls they love my short hair when it is short and other girls tell me they love my stonerish hair when it is that kind of long.
Honestly, I just like to dress how I feel comfortable and like how I look, usually that's jeans and a t-shirt, occasionally shirt. Fuck the whole metrosexual thing though, you're supposed to look like a bloke, not an adrogynous piece of human.

Well im sure they dont want guys with greasy fucking long hair.
The rugged shit means your facial hair is "rugged" and youre casual dresser that can look good in cheap clothing..

Re: Are women really attracked to rugged men?
Take it for what it is but I've been told by some women that they are attracted to and end up falling in love with men who remind them of thier dads

Re: Are women really attracked to rugged men?
I personally am not attracted to men who are rugged. I'm more into pretty boy looks and high cheekbones. I did read something once that a study was done on women who were menstrating. Just before, when they were fertile and ovulating, they wanted the more Manly men (Think Hugh Jackman as Wolverine). After this fertile time was over, they found more Girlish looking men hawt (Think Jude Law in everything). The brain trust that did this study thinks that we want to fuck men that look like they have aggresive sperm and will fight a sabertooth wombat to impregnate us. Afterwards, we want the more doey eyed lads that look maternal and would help us take care of the kid.

I'm pretty sure girls don't only date one type of guy. It is kind of hard to generalize and entire sex, except when you say: "Girls like a man with a ton of money and power."
That statement is true.

But the thing is, girls don't really guys with money and power, they just want money and power. And no one even really wants that, they just want to be happy.
