erm.. Can someone please enligten me what they know about them and shit..

Because I had what seemed to be a frustrating pimple that wouldn't go away. Well now it is this sore type thing on the corner of my mouth(Outside of my mouth).

My mom said it looks like a cold sore. So I search cold sore on google. And it tells me they are from herpes. um WTF! But it also said likr 60 % of the USA has herpes and doesn't know/care.

I don't got no god damn herpes. Atleast I don't think. The sore is going away. but how do you make it go away faster?

I don't know if this means anything. but: I had sex with only one person in my life. (my current girlfriend) She never had sex or anything like that before me. So basically We lost ur virginities to each other.

I really don't know much about cold sores/herpes and everything I read is too confusing.

well.. after the last couple days of research, I think HSV1 is what it is. But I never read how you get the virus? I also read something that there is an actual cure now that makes it go away forever..

2/3 of the population gets cold sores every once in a while. Left untreated, they will take a couple weeks to heal

Most 16 year olds have the same mindset as a 12 year old.

eh, cold sores don't neccesarily come from sex, any contact with the virus, perhaps sharing a drink or bowl, etc. Its okay though, don't stress abou tit too much, as people said earlier, alot of people have it, i think it may be even higher than 2/3, but a good percentage of people don't show the symptoms.

It's herpes, but it's only harmless(almost).

Get some acyclovir ointment.

I've had cold sores since I was like in primary school. Always come up if I'm stressed, hormonal or got a cold. Just don't kiss anyone while you have them.

Becareful man, you can get those on your dick as well, if a girl gave you head with a cold sore.

There isn't a cure for coldsores, once you get one the virus is with you forever.

The sore itself goes away after a while, but they can ressurface if (as Flimp said) you are stressed, hormonal, or have a cold.

So after it goes away, just keep yourself in good health. I mean come on, it's not killing you.

Just don't kiss or go down on anyone.

That would end badly for all parties involved.

yeh i used to get cold sores too but now i know why i get them i haven't got one in a few years.

and get plenty of rest and

DONT FUCKING PICK IT OR TOUCH IT

it WILL scar and after it goes you're left with a darker patch of skin where it used to be. it happened to me and it sucks.

Oh yeh and don't touch it then touch other parts of your body. it does spread,no this has not happened to me and YES it can get on your pen0r.
