I can sorta understand why he has a problem with this. It would bother me too. Not the fact that she was making money from sex but the fact that she was fucking other men without my knowledge(paid or otherwise, I'm not sure if her getting paid for it has no effect).

You are right that he needs to stop degrading her so much and just move on and find someone else though.

If you were a mature responsible person you would have had a discussion with her on what you discovered and how you could work things out.
