OK, its shitty weather, I suffer from SAD and about an our ago while prepping the food for tonight (one of my few remaining pleasures in life) I realised that the old granny who sneezed on me yesterday at the supermarket had given me her cold.

Soooo Jack is in a nasty mood.

About ten minutes ago there was a knock at the front door.

Thats about 15:40 my time btw.

It was some rather nubile looking school girl who asked if my eldest son (18) was in.

Of course he isn't up yet.

So I just did what i know he hates me doing and sent her up the stairs to wake him up.

Baaaad Dad! *smacks own hand*

A few minutes after I found her crowering among the rubbish on the back stairs when I went outside to have a fag.

she said 'he's just getting dressed'

At that moment son opened his bedroom door to let her back in.

So I left her with the comment 'ER is next door if you want a shot of broad spectrum antibiotics'. (we live next door to a hospital).

Son's comment :"arrrgh Daaaaaaad!!!11"

He should think himself lucky, I normally make some remark about birth control!

Infact I think I might do that when she comes back down stairs....

Teenagers require constant 'slapping downs' and general belittling otherwise they might start to believe the glossy blurb about life being fun.

Yup, thats why I avoid bringing together things like "home", "family" and "opposite sex" anywhere near eachother. That kinda sucks though, go figure it out for yourselves.

But you've got to get the right amount otherwise you will just end up pissing him off a lot. I haven't slept with a girl for over a year now but if my parents had been somewhat more allowing back then the relationship probably would have lasted longer.

Yeah, i've never brought a girl home because I learned from my older brother my mom is a complete bitch to *most* teenage girls and if she isn't then she will embarrass me by asking too many questions.

When i lvied at home full time (Thank god for higher education and my uni choice being the opposte side of the country!) any time i brought home someone of the opposite sex, even just as a friend (which is what they always were) my dad used to make embaressing comments towards me. Hell he still does it now im 21 when im back at home in the hols, although all the grils i bring home have gotten used to it and just reply in a similar manner that i do so hes left without a comeback God i love my friends !
