Girlfriend moving in?!?!
Holy shit, so, my girlfriend of two weeks just got kicked out of her cousin's home.
She's here studying from Austria, but the family situation got sour and now, at 9am she's called me asking her to come into the city and help her 'find accomodation'.
She only has a sprinkling of friends apart from me, and she spends time with me most of all.
If she moves in with me, there'd be no way to break up with her. Dear god.
Sign me up for a vasectomy, just to be sure.

Re: Girlfriend moving in?!?!
There's this awesome amazing thing out now! It's called honesty!.
You should try it, it's some pretty decent shit, and allthough you might feel a bit bad for doing it, it will be better for you AND for her if you just fucking say "no".
It's not going to be cool if you end up stuck with someone you were contemplating dumping. Stop it now before it's too late!

Re: Girlfriend moving in?!?!
My girlfriend moved in with me a couple days before christmas. she had a bad fight with her parents so my mom said she can stay with us. It was just me(im 16) my mom and my sister living here(and my mom's boyfriend on the weekends). I though it was going to be all bad and there might be trouble but I really like it. we had a couple fights since shes been here that i bet would have broken us up if it hadn't been for her being here.
But then we have been together for over two years. So you can't really compare my situation to yours.

Re: Girlfriend moving in?!?!
My girlfriend stayed with me for a few days once. The constant sex was chill, but having someone constantly fucking watching what you're typing on the computer is annoying. Especially when you're stealing said girlfriends adderall and abusing other drugs when supposedly you hadn't touched shit in forever.

Re: Girlfriend moving in?!?!
I think european chicks are more prone to doing housework like cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc...might look at it as a live in maid who fucks you type of deal....

Help her 'find accomodation'...just not yours. Two weeks isn't long enough...but you already know that.

Don't get me wrong, Yoyo. I really like the girl but living with her scares the living shit out of me.
We found her a house and I hope to god she gets the interview. She's apparantly got some other relatives she can stay with too.
I'm just being overwhelmed with a feeling of dread and entrapment.
I hope this isn't the end of our relationship, but perhaps it is.

I think that's pretty normal with any very serious level of commitment.
Even though you love the person there is this scary feeling that this is going to be the last time you'll fall in love with someone, and that things will be very different.
It doesent mean the end of your relationship just because you dont want to live with her just yet. It's allways sensible to find out just how much you like the person before you jump into anything. And also how they deal with their dirty stinky socks.

QFT. I keep meaning to do a thread about this kinda thing. Its never ceases to amaze me how the 'small things' can kill a relationship.
For example, Mrs Ketch insists on washing the tea-towels using fabric softener (makes them to all intents and purposes then useless).
The number of times I have wanted to beat her to death with a ultra soft lenor smelling 100% linen cloth are uncountable....

No shit!
Towels with fabric softener don't soak up as much....uhm...fluids (?).

Nope, they soak up almost nothing.
