Part 1.

So I called her and we went out, did some stuff and got along pretty well. It occured to me a few minutes in that she was acting kinda like she was drunk. A lot of oblique questions later it turns out she had used ice that morning and taken a xanax about 2 hours before. Some slightly more direct questions and I found out that she used ice a couple of times a week and sometimes heroin. The xanax was more of an everyday thing... Fuck that. I've been rather attatched to a girl that started using all that shit and that caused so many problems and so many hours of anger,false hope and despair that I am not risking it all again. I'll be friendly with this girl but I am keeping it in my damn pants.

Part 2.

I was at my friends place the other day and met his girlfriend for the first time. I was on a funny streak and she was laughing a lot. Then I noticed she was glancing at me a lot, this progressed to making a lot of eye contact and pretty soon she's come over and sat next to me, looking straight into my eyes and touching my knee. I made an excuse to move and went into the next room where my friend was. ten minutes later he goes to the toilet (he ate something funny the previous day so he was in there for a while) and his girlfriend is instantly standing pretty much against me looking like she's in love... I talked to her for a bit, making sure to keep it neutral etc After a bit she's touching my chest as we talk so I pretended I got a text message and had to bail. I told my friend this through the toilet door and went home. The whole time she's trying to convince me to stay and watch a movie with her. Forgot to say she picked my phone up off a table and put her number in it earlier.

Now I'm trying to work out whether I should say anything to him about why I actually left etc. He really likes the girl and she didn't actually cheat on him in any way so would it just be stirring shit to say something? I'm also a little concerned about how he'd take it.

Opinion here is always divided as to whether or not you should tell in such a situation.

Personally I think you shouldn't. I'd suggest you avoid them both for a while. Maybe go for a beer with him kinda thing but don't meet up with them if they are still a couple.

And REMEMBER PEOPLE, any retarded teenage, closet homosexual Americanisms about 'bros before hos'and I shall be forced to close this thread.

I agree, if you tell him he won't thank you. People are always so bloody blind in these situations.

Maybe subtly warn him off her, but try not to get involved.

Avoid her at all possible costs! I've known a few girls like that, and they're prone to making things up when stuff doesn't go their way. Don't get into any situations which could be mis-reported...
