the "slow down" talk
I started talking to a girl on sunday and thing seems to have gone pretty fast. We've spent almost everyday together already, and me, being stupid, has kissed her and fondled at every oppurtunity.
I was out with her a last night and her ex kept ringing her. She turned her mobile off and comforted me but I felt bad for some reason. It seems as though just because her ex got involved, I feel like shit. I can't explain it.
My friends have suggested that I need to slow it down, she's just got out of a relationship etc.
What'd ya think &T, is it going to fast? And if so, how shall i deal with it?

Re: the "slow down" talk
If she likes you then she likes you. Don't worry about the ex unless that gets out of hand.
We all have past lives to deal with, sometimes it's easy, sometimes it's difficult. Just imagine if she was divorced, had kids and you had to deal with that too.
Sometimes we just have to accept that there will be exes that will occasionally pop up.
Be good to her, show her that you're better than the ex. Don't get jealous if she really isn't doing anything with the ex other than picking up a phone call. She even had the courtesy of turning off her cell for you.
Good luck.

Re: the "slow down" talk
Be careful with people who have just gotten out of relationships.
Just because they're fine with moving fast with someone else right after, doesn't mean it's a good idea.
Not saying she doesn't genuinely like you as much as you think she does. I'm saying that right when you get out of a relationship, you crave the closeness. And it would be a very bad idea to move too fast with her, because in a few weeks it's really possible that she'll wake up wondering how the hell it happened.

Re: the "slow down" talk
Just go at whatever pace is comfortable for the both of you.. it might take a little while to find, but still - she chose you over her ex by going out with you instead of trying to get back with him, and she chose you over him again by just shutting off her phone. It sounds like you don't have anything to worry about, so just do what feels natural.
