So recently I have been talking to this girl and last weekend we played tennis. My parents grill me for a good half hour before they let me go anywhere, and i have never introduced them to any girls. Anyway, i just found out that they googled her and found out her address and what her dad does and stuff. I'm debating telling her, would you be freaked out by my parents?

btw I'm 16 have a car and a job, I have never introduced them to a girl before because I was afraid something like this would happen.

Definitely don't tell the girl. She'll just get wierded out. If I were you I'd seriously confront my parents though. What the hell is their problem?

if you want to tell her go for it, just dont be weird and fucked up like your parents. tell her if you were to see her, your parents wont be there. you have your own car, thats a little trust.

I feel your pain. my 'rents tried to google my girlfriend's dad for some odd reason. thank god they didn't find anything though. the way she and i see it, it's great that our parents want to talk to eachother, but they can do it through us, not behind our backs.

Don't let yourself be caught up in your parents lives. When they googled her it probably didn't have anything to do with you. Mostly likely they were just bored. I'd just try to disconnect yourself from it and live your life as is.

Tell them you're a bit confused by them doing that.

Tell them that if you behave responsibly you feel you deserve to be trusted. Obviously this doesn't work if you don't behave responsibly.

It's probably just their way of trying to protect you - it's a bit fucking weird, but don't be too harsh on them.
