From my experience all the "Hot girl, ugly guy" couples are usually when the girl is still in high school and the guy is rich and in college. When money is not an issue, women only date guys who are as attractive as them or more attractive than them.

with young girls the guys in bands thing is such a big issue. actually it may apply to older women too, but i'm not sure. my girlfriend used to date billy ray cyrus's son, who's in a band too. they're gay as hell but lots of girls seem to want his ballz.

It's nothing new that women are attracted to how you make them FEEL and not how you look.

We know that men are attracted to that which will produce healthy and fruitful offspring. This is why we're turned on by tits (providing milk for kids), curvy hips (healthy and strong womb), etc. This makes sense from a survivalist standpoint.

Women, on the other hand, are attracted to that which will provide good FEELINGS and REWARDS to both her and her children's brains. If the person makes her laugh, reward chemicals are released and an addiction often starts to the person. Like a junkie fighting over a used crack bag, they are driven and compelled to bring into their lives that which provides states of goodness.

This CAN include looks so they ARE also important but they are just an exceptionally smaller piece of the overall whole. For example, a man's bald spot is a sign of aging and infertility THUS a woman may be grossed out by men with shiny heads. However, if being rich is higher up than baldness on her internal hierarchy of what is needed to survive, she may become attracted to a bald man who is rich.

Attraction is clearly a person to person thing. Some pieces fit, some do not. The important thing to remember is that the overall APPEARANCE of you as a MAN is not the crux of whether or not a connection can be made.

If I hear one more person say "chicks dig confidence," I'm going to burn this motherfucker down.
