I have two best friends here at college and I have one major problem with them lately that I'm pretty annoyed about. Their girlfriends. I'm a single-ton for the most part but I get mine.

Last year we used to have a lot of fun and do lots of drugs and just got sloppy as hell drunk- But now when they're not working they're spending pretty much every waking moment with their ms.



friend one, we'll call him J- his girlfriend goes to school about 4 hours away and he goes there almost every thursday-sunday night. It's annoying and unnecessary. To make matters worse he is completely fucking whipped and she has cheated on him twice (that she will admit to). She walks all over him and he even acknowledges that he's a total pushover and whenever she cheats on him or they fight or something he just fucks her and goes home and thinks everything's cool.

The other friend- we'll call him B- has invited me to watch a movie with him THREE TIMES only to have this happened.

B: [phone rings] hello? oh yeah- i'll be right there. [click] dude..I gotta go.

me: can we finish this movie?

B: not really..

I'm sure other singles have had to deal with friends incessantly text messaging or leaving the room for like 15 minutes to talk to their lady all day and it just makes you wanna kill shit.

Any ideas on how to get it to stop? I've lost my best friends to the nasty vag.

At some point you'll want to only spend time with HER too (assuming you do ever get a girlfriend).

When I had a gf I could spend time with her AND my friends. It didn't need to be every waking minute. I still saw friends like 5 nights a week. We'd go clubbing, get massively fucked up, give sluts the five fingered face push, and generally have good, rowdy nights.

Now, he's whipped. His gf tells him what to do and to wear. He can't wear colors that clash with what she's wearing. He can't make spur of the moment decisions, like "Hey lets go out!" because he hasn't let her know he'd be going out with friends. If he wants to go clubbing, she has to come with him. She will get jealous if he doesn't cancel plans with us if she decides she has some free time for him.

Seriously, some girls are fucking CRAZY manipulative bitches and ruin friendships.

She's jealous of the attention he gave his mates (a lot). So now she's changing him. Sad times.

Well, it depends on how good the movie is.

EDIT: Really, I don't know. My girlfriend is both my best friend and not the type to call me up at random times and demand sex, so it's an unlikely scenario anyway. If I had my way I'd just be hanging out with her all the time anyway.

Sit him down, explain the situation to him, but you gotta let him know you're supportive of him either way.

Some people gotta learn their lessons the hard way. Hang out with your other single friends and check in on 'em once in awhile.
