What should i do?
This is quite long, if you'd rather not read it, scroll to the bottom for a summary.
I'll tell you something about me first, I'm 16, curly longish hair, not too bad looking and very confident.
A month or so ago i was voted to be a MYP for my area (Member of Youth Parliament) and all was going well, up to election night.
I go into the hall and sit down with all the other candidates, then i caught a glimpse of her in the corner of my eye, stunning, about 5'3, brown shoulder length hair, busty and looking quite retroly dressed.
Naturally, i do what i would normally do and ask her if the seat next to her is taken, she says no and i go and sit down.
We get to talking and i discover she's 17, but a couple years older than me schooling wise, we hit it off talking and laughing.
The moment for elections came and i was hoping to hell if i was to get in then so would she.
It seemed almost fate when we were both elected in, so i think i decided then that i had fully fallen in love with this girl.
We had to go to a meeting and again, me being my smooth self (sarcasm) started joking with her, im not sure what happened, if i was flirting with her or what but she seemed to be pissed of at me, though i think i solved it.
I found out she was actually a bit of a nerd, so we found soething to talk, or rather argue about, the fanboy and fangirl couldnt decide whether dungeons and dragons were more nerdy than pokemon cards (dont hate me, i was putting it on at this point)
Then the heartbreaker came, valentines day came up, and she said she had a boyfriend, my heart sunk.
What should i do?
If i ask her out and she says no, then it's gonna be an akward year, if i dont, im gonna be stuck feeling like this.
I have a residential or two with her coming up, what should i do?
Summary : I'm in love with a girl who i ahve no idea who likes me back, but am to afraid to ask, what should i do to ease the course of things?

If she has a boyfriend what makes you think she will go out with you?

Re: What should i do?
To the first poster, i dont know this guy, i dont know how long they have been dating, i dont know anything about him, so anything goes on what her dicision would be on things.
To Euda, it's that feeling you know?, the one where you just feel comfortable around her and cant stop thinking about her.

Re: What should i do?
Well, I'm going to say that you should move along, but somehow...I doubt you'll take that piece of advice.
She said, straight out, that she has a boyfriend. That's where your intent should die.

I may have to take your piece of advice, as things would get very awkard if i got rejected, if she likes me, she'll tell me, im sure. Plus, i've got a whole year, anything could happen.

Hmmm...
(remembers teenhood years)
There were times when I told a guy I had a boyfriend to (hopefully) keep him from asking me out.

Re: What should i do?
Don't take the boyfriend response to seriously. She could have said it for a number of reasons, my guess is, since you're not that experienced, that you moved too fast.
I don't exactly know what you asked on Valentines day..
Anyway, from what I've seen so far..
Ignore the comment, keep doing what you're doing now.

Ahh, you guys have got it wrong, i asked everyone what their valentine's day was like, she said she got a huge bar of white chocolate, and i asked 'who gave you that then?' then she said 'my boyfriend of course'

It'll be complicated as fuck when she says no and have to spend the next year in meetings with her. Anyother girl i'd go and straight up ask her out, but for some reason this is different.

Re: What should i do?
That's easy, find someone who's single (or at least who tells you that they are).
I know you think you're in love but you'll forget about her easily if you find another cool chick to go out with.
