I was out with some friends the other night and after a while the only bar that was still open was this strip club (it was a wednesday after midnight). Figuring that the cover charge was worth being able to continue drinking we went in, the naked girls were more of a bonus.

Anyway, we're in there sitting at a table drinking overpriced beer and laughing about old times. Every ten minutes or so a stripper comes past and tries to get one of us to go for a private dance. We were more interested in catching up and after about a minute or so they'd realise this and move on. Then one of them sat down and actually said something funny. we all laughed and started talking and this went on for about 20 minutes before she went off to "make some money". At three or so everyone but me had to go (the one whose place they were crashing at was pretty much passed out). I figured I'd payed the cover so I might as well enjoy the floor show before I went home. after about a minute the girl who'd sat with us for a while came over and sat down with me. We ended up talking until they closed at 5am. We were getting along really well, lots in common, we actually got kicked out by our parents within a week of each other etc... lol. At closing time she gave me a piece of paper with her number and real name on it (out of the blue).

So, should I give her a call? Has anyone dated a stripper? Were there work related problems?

Absolutely don't call her. There is not a shred of enjoyment out of calling up a decently attractive woman and having sex with her no strings attatched. Nope, definitely sounds like you have nothing to gain and the world to lose from calling her.

Strippers do have bad reputations when it comes to relationships etc, but everything has its stereotypes.

The fact that she is a person (and female) should come first, the fact that she's a stripper comes secondary, if you have no ethical objections.

Awww thats what i get for not reading the whole post... lol my bad.

Two of my friends are strippers (One of them started around 6 months ago, but the other has been doing it since before I met her), and they're both very cool people. I don't think her job should matter too much.

I'm sure there are plenty of strippers who fit people's stereotypes, but the two I know don't at all. Their job is just that: a job. It's not their life or anything, and it doesn't reflect on who they are other than being pretty open-minded people. They are both in relationships that seem perfectly healthy, and they're definitely not the type to sleep around with everyone.

Yes I have had experience with three strippers. I met all three in the gym. I am not into titty bars.

3. All three were from broken homes.

4. All three were into drugs.

5. All three were great, I mean exceptional in the sack, and would be considered "hyper-sexual".

6. All three were extreme liars. These bitches would lie even when the truth would have served them better.

7. All three were EXCEPTIONAL manipulators. Remember that is what they do for a living manipulate people, specifically men.

8. All three TOLD me they were seeing me exclusively and I found out otherwise.

9. This is weird; ALL three had the same favorite sexual position. They all loved it from behind "doggie style", can't figure that one out!

10. All three had breast implants, not surprising though.

11. All three were really fucking hot and drew a lot of attention everywhere we went and if they weren't getting attention, they would do something for attention. Generally, something really fucking stupid.

12. All three made great money and were always fucking broke.

This has been my experience. Now, having said that I would still date a stripper. Oh, I guess I should re-phrase that; I would still fuck a stripper and tell her she was my girlfriend and SHE IS the only one I am seeing.
