sorry about the drug dealing comment, but seems like you don't want to get a real job, did you graduate high school already? it's never too late to start college which can be good bcuz you could move out and get away from the whold ordeal

how is the idea of your parents splitting affecting you? is that what's really bumming you?

Your situation isn’t a unique one. If most married couples could easily opt out of the marriage deal that they committed themselves to when they were young and in lust, they would. At least your parents did the right thing and kept it together until you were old enough to understand.

Nah, I dropped out two years ago. I couldn't stay awake or concentrate, let alone remember anything. Hasn't gotten any better. I really don't want to go back either, affected me bad enough to sometimes have nightmares of relisting there. I don't know what to think about the divorce, I knew it was coming eventually but I just pretended like it didn't exist. Pretty much the same way you don't really think about dying eventually, one of those things you don't think about until it's here

Your parents splitting isn't your biggest problem. If they stayed together, what would you do with your life? Mooch off of them til then end of time? If you can't find a job, aren't in school, and are doing nothing to fix that problem you are going no where fast.

Maybe my priorities are messed up because I never really got close to my parents (a couple months ago my dad went out to look for houses so he could leave, when my mom told me, the first thought through my head was, "About time"), but I think you should be more worried about your future then your parents. Stop being a lazy shit and try to stay awake, believe it or not even the nerds get tired in class, they just struggle through it. Sit your punk ass down and actually study, I can't remember jack shit of what my professors say, that's what books are for. Almost no one enjoys school, you just have to force your way through it so you can get a decent job.
