Girl I met online..
I met a girl online about 6-7 months ago. We've been talking online and on the phone ever since and we've really hit it off. It's just like when ever I talk to her I can keep talking for hours.
The problem is that I live in Hertfordshire and she lives in darbyshire. That's about a 4 hour car drive. We're both too young to drive, etc.
Any ideas on what we can do to meet up etc?

Re: Girl I met online..
That's the same distance between me and my girlfriend and we see each other. Trains and buses aren't particularly cheap but it's not hard to raise the money. Do either of you have jobs? Supportive parents who would drive you one way or the other? Any way to meet in the middle? There are ways. If you really want to do it, you can, no problems.
By the way, you're one county away from me. I'm gonna go outside and shout really loud, listen out
EDIT: The first time me and her met, we went to London. It cost her £3 for a direct-to-London bus (can't remember the company) for a 4-hour journey, and me £15 for the train to and from London. Your children's children could stretch to that, I'm sure.
EDIT AGAIN: Changed phrasing because 'special bus' made it sound like a service for Down's kids or something.

Re: Girl I met online..
Me and my girlfriend live 3hours away from each other. It is a bit of a black hole with the money, but i love her, the sex is great and when we are together we are as close to perfect a relationship can get.
The one thing is that i have spoken to people online for a year or two then met up, and msn gives you this impression that you know each other and really you dont have a clue WHO they actually are.

I'm in Bucks. Going the route of relatives of family friends is a great one if it's practical. We've stayed at her aunt and uncle's house near Watford for a few days before, they love having her up and I get on really well with them, and we're welcome there whenever we want to stay; we'll probably go there again for a couple of days sometime soon. It definitely helps to make a good impression on the other person's family, it makes them a lot more disposed to do things to help you see each other (her uncle picked me up whem my mother got in an accident and couldn't give me the lift she'd promised, and her aunt took me to the bus station on the way back, which they most likely wouldn't do if they didn't get on with me). Y'see, it's not impossible to see each other .
