Copland/Freemason/NYPD BLue syndrome
What do all these things have in common> brotherhood, utter loyalty and obedience to one another. But, for the most part people in these groups are lofty, well meaning people. How best to influence them, for personal gain?
U mean for those who have seen Copland, think about Michael Rapport role, as Officer Glen Tunni, a martyr persercuted. How best to fabricate such a level of affection, and how to mainuplate the media/authority etc to that level?
Sorry if this doesnt make sense drunk and tired.

Re: Copland/Freemason/NYPD BLue syndrome
Not quite sure what you're asking, but I'll take a stab in the dark:
The more personal information you know about them, the better. Find a common ground with them, then exploit it.
Make them relate to you. Find a major struggle of their life, then pretend you've gone through the same thing. Act like you're similar. Be funny. Help them out and let them know you always have their back.
Lie. A lot.
