I have a problem with making friends.

I will usually see people at school or the YMCA

where I volunteer and after a while I try to at least talk to them.The problem I have is that I can't really start conversations or I'm too shy to talk with other people.I have friends,but I just have difficulty meeting new people.I can't say I'm anti social,but I am certainly not social.

What do I do????☺

just talk to them, the only way to get over your shyness it to face it head on. just talk about stuff that you have in common, like an assignment you had in class.
