Default Stray Puppy

Scroll to the bottom for the moral of the story.

-------------------------------------------

I was at a party several months ago after a big fight with my boyfriend. All I wanted to do was be flirted with all night long, but I didn't want to actually do anything. Just clean fun. So, I had to pick someone who was safe. Fortunately there was this cute enough 19 year old kid there who was more than willing to lavish me with attention all night long.

He was impeccably mannered and well spoken. Articulate and witty. He pulled out my chair, brought me drinks, hung on my every word. Several drinks and a few bowls later my friends wanted to leave and he walked me to the car. I told him I wasn't taking him home - I'm seeing someone. He kissed me and I pushed him away, politely.

I didn't see him again until the other night (see other thread) when I was strangled by this gorilla (who happened to be a mutual friend). Currently the boyfriend I'd had at the time and I are on a break, but still kind of talking. So, we made out and I took him home that night. So what he's 19? That makes it safe. There's no possibility of a future! It's just good (dirty) fun.

However after this thing with that gorilla started spiraling out of control, he went into ultra-boyfriend mode. He called several times a day to make sure I knew he was on my side and to see how I was feeling even though I really didn't want to talk to anybody. Then he came to the house and was offering my kid sister a job at RadioShack and watching Seinfeld with my brother. I had to literally kick him out at the end of the night, and he only left on the promise that he could come over the next day.

I agreed not realizing it was Valentines Day. I tried to take it back and tell him not to come but he insisted he would just come by a drop off his Valentines. He brought me a CareBear and roses he grew himself. It's my fault for offering him a drink. My brother and his girlfriend were there fueling the flames of Valentines. We quickly became a double date. A bottle of wine later I realize I'm under police orders not to tell him anything about the case and I had to get up early so the cops could take me to the hospital. I had to kick him out again.

Again he only left after I promised to see him the next night. He called several times today, but I'd forgotten. I was too nervous all day to think about this stray puppy. I've had death threats sent all day. So, when I showed up at home on the brink of a nervous breakdown and I find him here waiting for me I could barely speak.

What was he doing there?! I mean, I remembered I said he could come over, but I didn't expect him to be there when I got there! Then! To make it wierder! He didn't just bring me dinner from a very expensive resturaunt, but he apparently brought my entire family dinner. He barely knows me, he doesn't know my family at all, and suddenly he's acting like my boyfriend of three years.

Now, I'm freaking out. It's not that I dislike him. I just didn't want to see anybody and he was going too fast from something I didn't expect to happen at all! After struggling to get comfortable for a half hour while he follows at my heels (constantly behind me, or inches from my face), rubs at my legs, tries to hold my hand, incessantly compliments me (which is okay up until a point). Finally I couldn't take anymore and said

"I just need to be alone for a few minutes." I lock myself in the back room and take off my nail polish, waste some time. I'm naseaus and nervous from stress and exhaustion and I don't know how to tell this very nice young man to LEAVE ME THE HELL ALONE!!!

I come out and find him sitting in front of the television watching Mothra vrs Godzilla and eating peanuts from a bowl we keep on the coffee table. I aim to sit in the chair but he scoots over about a half inch implying I should sit there, so I do. I'm claustrophobic. I can't breathe. I want to like him and be okay with this, but I can't. I proceed to put on John Stewart and paint my nails, hoping it becomes comfortable.

But, he keeps staring at me. I can feel his eyes burning a hole through my temple. He's staring at me hoping that I may glance back and he can snatch a kiss. But, I don't want to kiss anyone. I have strangulation bruises on my neck! I don't want to be near ANYBODY!!! We got through John Stewart and half of the Colbert Report before I couldn't take it anymore. He was implying he should stay the night. I had to kick him out. But, he kept saying

"I'm just here trying to make you smile. Aw, look, come on, smile for me. Aw, you're so cute. Look at that smile. I'm just here to brighten your day and make you feel better. Come on, smile for me." I wanted to kill him! So, I tried to be straight with him.

"See? It's like this. I'm not that much of a people person. I spend all day around people and if I'm not feeling well, I just want to be alone at the end of the day. I've had a very rough week and you're just very intense. We hardly know each other. We've never been on a date and you're over here, when I get home, bringing my family food, bringing me teddy bears and flowers. It's very sweet, but you're so boyfriendy, and I'm so wigged out right now I don't know if I can handle it just yet."

He got a little perturbed but after I promised to talk to him via phone tomorrow night (which I think will be easier) he agreed to go. Then took so long to get out the door I thought I was going to put a spike through his head. Just before he left, too, he even begged a little.

"No! I'm sorry! I can't!"

"Okay! Okay! Relax!" He says. "Where's that beautiful smile?" I try to force a smile and he's all touching my face and trying to hug me even though my arms are crossed. "Aw! That's so cute!" I practically had to kick him out the door.

---------------------------------------------

There's a few morals to this story.

Moral No. 1: For you adults: No matter how mature a teenager may seem, their lack of life experience will always kick you in the ass. And for the teenagers: No matter how attainable an older woman/man may seem if you're too young to get into a bar they probably don't take you very seriously. Even if they'd like to.

Moral No. 2: Don't bring home strays. You may find them hard to get rid of.

Moral No. 3: It's one thing to save a damsel in distress, but the whole thinking you're going to get laid by comforting a girl who's upset thing is retarded. A girls upset, she's upset. Don't hug a girl when her arms are crossed. Don't show up to a womans house you hardly know with food for her entire family. Do not offer her teenager sister a job. These may all seem like very nice things to do, and they are, if you've been dating a while.

Cheers,

Lost

Why are you so surprised? You have an awful lot going for you and I can understand any man, especially any younger man, wanting to be with you. (that was a complimnet...kinda...sorta).

Anyways its 'cruel to be kind' time. Dump his arse and dump it HARD now before he starts writing you love poems.

Come to think of it though, I was like that at age 17. The stuff about the guy desperately trying to get you to smile strikes a chord with me. I used to do the same with thing with my depressed and nutcase girlfriend. It was futile.

Perhaps you shouldn't sleep with people so easily. It's most likely the only reason he's attached to you.

I think some teenagers can be perfectly mature and good at dealing with things, but I reckon they can get attatched to an older love-interest easily, and not know when to let go. I dunno though.. it happened to me a little , but only in my head, I didn't do any stalking or obsessive texting/ringing.. or even communicate my attatchment.

So you teased this guy, you basically used him to boost your low self esteem, and now he's trying to be decent and nice to you, you're treating him like shit?

It occurs to me that sometimes, sometimes, guys really *do* seem to meet girls who like assholes. And those nice guys really do get fucked over by cruel cruel women.

Hey lost cause, if you dont want the kid, I'll have him!

There are no such things as "nice" guys. Only pussies who perform acts perceived as "nice" because they want some pussy just like any other guy wants. They just go about it in an under-handed, sneaky way that is supposed to appear innocent, which is actually alot worse than the blunt asshole.

You can have him. And I didn't tease him. When I first met him we flirted, that's all. I don't think flirting is teasing. You can flirt without having any specific intention. And then, I didn't think that if I slept with him once he would suddenly start acting like a boyfriend of three years.

Bottomline, he got too clingy too fast. So, if you consider that me leading some poor nice boy on, fine. I disagree and I'd be happy to give him your number. Afterall, he is a nice kid.

Edit: Not to mention I was strangled and almost raped by a friend of his last week and am in the middle of dealing with the police over it. Frankly, I didn't want anybody touching me. And if he can't understand that than I don't know what.

Cheers,

Lost

Yes, that's quite the wrong type of guy for a quick confidence boost.

If you're honest with him, that should help.

Edit: He just...wouldn't leave?

It wasn't even a confidence boost. It was just that I missed the affection my boyfriend used to give me. Then later on, it was out of sheer boredom.

So let me get this straight:

You didn't want ANYBODY touching you?

So you kissed this kid. Took him home, and slept with him?

Is he a mother fucking magician? Did he phantom fuck you? Probably not, right?

You touched him and he touched you.

You stupid fucking cunt.

You don't even know what you want. Stop putting your self in fucked up situations and maybe you wont get physically assaulted or almost raped every 15 seconds.

God damn. Here's a lesson for you: if you don't want anybody touching you, it doesn't help when you hop on their cock and shove it in your open gaping wound you smelly bitch.

Wait wait. You're mixed up. The night the guy strangled me and I took the kid home, I was in shock. I didn't know what was going on. It didn't hit me until two days later that I'd actually been assaulted because I had contusions all over my neck and wrists. I made a mistake because I was freaked out.

I had to get have a tube stuck down my throat so they could repair my esophogus today from strangulation. I don't almost get raped every 15 seconds. The guy who did this is a sick man who is going to prison for a long time, along with anyone else who ever tries to do something like this to me.

God damn. Here's a lesson for you: if you don't want anybody touching you, it doesn't help when you hop on their cock and shove it in your open gaping wound you smelly bitch.

*rolls eyes again* You clearly don't know what you're talking about. You must live in a crystal bubble that protects you from all the fuckers of the world. Also, I bet you're a male, not a 5"2 female. As a woman I'm more of a target for sexual predators than you are, so you could never understand.

Lost, I've experienced that sort of thing from young men to older men. I don't think it's the age so much as it the guy.

Just don't let him in your apartment/house if he shows up again. Hopefully, he's not a wacko.

Oh, and since it sounds like you might live with your family you need to make them aware of how you feel about this guy being around so they don't undermine you inadvertantly.

Well, sort of what I was trying to express (may be not very clearly) was that it's isn't so much a matter of maturity and age it's the life experience that comes with age.

And yea, I hope he's not a wacko like his "friend", who he now claims is his brothers friend.

Hmmm...from your post i cant tell if you went to bed with him or not. Im not sure if "Took him home" means u slept with him, but if it does i really dont understand what you are complaining about. If you dont want to be treated like a slut, you shouldnt act like one. Thats just my opinion, ive been brought up with a very strict family...

I know now days its a normal every day thing for people to sleep around but maybe sex isnt just a walk in the park for him. He probably thought you were really interested in him.

Mehhh, you seem to talk alot of crap, regarding your other thread i think its great you stand up for yourself. Nobody should be pushed against thier will, but maybe you should keep yourself out of these bad situations and they wont happen?

I've been in equally horrible situations, guess what I didn't do: Go home with a person younger than me and have sex with them. If you go into shock so easily, maybe you NEED to live in a little crystal bubble.

You being a female and 5"2 is even MORE reason for you to stop putting your self in fucked up situations.

I've been held at gun AND knife point (two separate occasions), in a police raid, beaten up (The proper type, as in a physical fight, not just strangled) and mugged. I live in the suburbs. Just need to let you know I don't live in a little bubble. Any way, each of those times, I didn't take a girl home and fuck her. Because I'm not a fucking retard.

You call me sheltered? Yet you're the one who does stupid fucked up shit when you're faced with something quite outside your safety zone.

I don't put myself in these situations all the time. That's why this is the first time this has happened. Should all of Ted Bundy's victims just should've not put themselves in that situation? You're talking like a judgemental condescending prick.

I've been held at gun AND knife point (two separate occasions), in a police raid, beaten up (The proper type, as in a physical fight, not just strangled) and mugged.

Me, too. But, that part of my life ended when I was 16 and moved out of the projects.

I didn't take a girl home and fuck her. Because I'm not a fucking retard.

Well may be if you had an attractive young girl who'd been hanging on you all night long and was pushing to fuck you you would have. It's not like I raped the kid. He's of age and he got out of the car and asked to come inside.

You call me sheltered? Yet you're the one who does stupid fucked up shit when you're faced with something quite outside your safety zone.

Yea. Frankly, I think I handled it pretty coolly. It's not like I went home and killed anyone or burned the house down or anything. So I slept with a boy who wanted to fuck me because I was shaken and vulnerable? Excuse me for having emotions.[/b]

End of the day, you have to take your own advice. Even if this kid is really nice, if he starts pushing boundaries, you have to damage him.

I'm not saying take his fuckin eye or anything in this situation (unless he gets nasty) but a good, gentle, friendly polite kick in the balls might let him know.

It's weird. Most guys who get a one night stand wouldnt try to pursue it or want it ot be anything other than a quick fuck.

You really do seem to pick up the weirdos.

In my opinion that is rather "slutty", being in shock doesnt excuse you for sleeping with somebody. You went home, took your clothes off, let him climb ontop of you, put him inside of you and had sexual intercourse. Im really sorry that happened to you, I have been in a situation like that before and it really scared me too but i called my big sister and fell asleep in her bed with her. Thats just my opinion though like i said, we may have very different morals and levels of self respect.

Goodluck with yur charges against the man who tried to take you against your will, i hope he gets what he deserves.

Unless she feels physically threatened, if she follows your advice and kicks him in the balls, she's just as bad as her attempted rapist. If she did, I'd say she deserves to get raped.

Stop acting tough. We all know you aren't yoyo. You're a tiny piss ant who's insanely possessive. You cry and whinge and refer to every single member of the male sex as "pigs, bastards, sexists", etc. Fuck, drop the tough girl act. No one's buying it.

LC, you've been wronged to an incredible magnitute. A dude tried raping you. That's horrible.

But don't try and tell us you fucked the kid because you were in shock....obviously it was because:

quote:Originally posted by LostCause:

You used a naive kid (seriously, he's 19, I'm 19, we're still kids) for sex. That's horrible. You're horrible.

To summarize: yoyo, you should be happy rapists exist, because you're a bottom feeder, and rapists are the only way you'll ever get sex.

Goodnight.

I'd like to raise another point.

Women, please for fuck sake just stop flirting with guys you don't have any intentions with. Stop flirting when you know full well you have a boyfriend.

Especially in a bar type scenario.

When I get chatting to a girl and we're flirting and it's all going good, I'm inclined to believe that it's going to go somewhere. I don't mean straight in the sack, but I want to believe something is going to happen and otherwise it's a let down.

There's such a thing as being "out on the pull", which most single guys may be doing when hey're on the town. Simply looking for girls in either getting action, or potential for and if you've got a boyfriend or not interested, you're simply wasting our time when we could be chatting to other girls that we might have a chance with.

Most of us can smell when there's no interest, but you were intending to lead him on.. it was only at the last minute you told him that you had a boyfriend and weren't going to go out with him.

The "blame the victim" mentality on this thread is disgusting.

And, whether she "used" the kid or not, she can't undo that. The point is, now he's acting weird and creepy, and she needs to deal with that. Forcefully. This guy's actions sound like Stalking 101 to me.

Lost, sorry you're going through a rough time. At least you're learning things not to do in future. Hope the gorilla gets put away forever.

Sorry Lost, normally you have good posts in all, but unfortunately I think this is more of a Bitch & Moan thread, as you obviously brought this one upon yourself.

Who said it was ok for men to do that? If a guy came on totse and said "I got attacked so I had sex with a young girl and now she's bothering me and being all nice to me and stuff, what should I do?", do you think people would say 'just kick her in the cooter, she'll get the message'? Ok, maybe they would, but still, it's not very nice...

Wow, you just took what LostCause said in 15 paragraphs and shortened it into one. Plus you dumbed it down.

Good job!

On a serious note: Lost, this post made me lose all respect for you.

I agree with this post. If you didn't want anyone touching you why would you go to a prty? And then tell us you just missed the affection your boyfriend gave you? Now that kid was kinda dumb. But it isn't his fault.

So shut up.

WHOA. So much anger... Why must we all be so bitter? Anyways, I think it's a pain in the ass when girls flirt up guys they have no interest in. That's seriously not fucking cool. Anyways, I feel bad for everyone involved in this thread 'cuz it's just fighting. my moral of the story: don't lead people on, don't let things persist to the point when it'll realy hurt someone.

First I must say I am sorry for your situation and best of luck for you, but I disagree with the way you handled it. I think its wrong, no matter what sex you are, to lead someone of the opposite sex on like you did.

After you almost got raped, even though you said you had broke up with your boyfriend but were still "talking", you should have called him up and had him comfort you. Fishing for another guy to pay attention to you is a horrible way to go about that and actually led you to another bad situation. If you still had any feelings whatsoever for your ex-boyfriend and he had any feelings for you he would have been the logical choice for you to turn to, not a completely random stranger.

Guys get the same problem as this though, maybe not a girl bringing a guy's family food and such, but we get girls who cling and no matter what you say they keep coming back.

I hope everything works out for you though and you get out of it ok.

Exactly.

Its silly to play with people like that, who knows he could turn out to be a PSYCHO.

Next thing you know, hes got her tied up in his basement, makes fingerpaintings with her blood, chops off her head, nails her body to the wall and then proceeds to fuck her severed head.

so basically, in an unstable mental state, you used a kid to make you feel good about yourself for awhile, and then when it didn't fit into your plan of how you wanted it to work out, you decided he was the crazy one.

look, i'm sorry that all that stuff happened to you. that's really too bad. but not being in a sane frame of mind is not an excuse to blame everything on other people. so you slept with him and now, maybe due to him being young, he just wants to be with you all the time. he thinks it means you're crazy about him. shock is not an excuse to go looking for someone you barely know to make you feel better. you think you're the victim? he's the victim too. not in the same way, but hey, you used him. and now he's annoying you. guess who caused this whole situation? you. bitching about it does not make him go away, nor does it make you any less responsible for your own problems.

Yeah, when I get in shock and don't want to touch anyone, I flirt with some girl and have sex with her. I don't understand why they seem to, you know, think maybe I like them or something

Edit: But the whole gorilla thing is pretty horrible. It'd make me pretty damn unstable too... I just don't understand how you'd go for sex after almost being raped. Seems like your statement that it was out of boredom/need for affection is closer to reality. He's being clingy, yeah, but I don't think you're blameless either.

For fucks sake...

There is one important thing which very much enchances a good night out. Flirting! So some attractive girl flirts with me all night and we have a good time, but we didnt do anything and there is no contact between us again, or occasionally you find a friend... where's the fucking problem?!

Am I supposed to immediately ask girls if they are single, and inform them that I have a girlfriend, just to talk to them?!

Flirting is something innocent... if you are single, casual sex isnt exactly a crime. Lost is bringing forth a problem and people are ripping on her... for what?

I had a girl... hmm... there was a girl. I met her in a pub one night. As soon as I saw her, her face it up. We chatted all night. She pretended to be interested in things that i liked and anything we shared, she emphasisted beyond belief! So I was teh man and fucked her... pwned? I dunno... she was hot, what was i supposed to do?

...but things got awkward. She got my other mobile number abd rang me, a lot. I avoided her for 3 days, but gave in... and fucked her again. I tried, but she trapped me with good sex and brought on a relationship which i had no idea was forming. Somehow, I felt guilty... like i led her on, like i was the guilty party!

I eventually let her down... hard! I had to, she was ready to buy me a fuckin' diamond ring and a push-up bra and get down on her knee...

We get psychos on both sides.

Since some are sharing...

There was this older man who I would discuss religious topics with. Somewhere during the conversation he was talking about jewish wedding ceremonies and I said how much I would love to go to one. The next time I saw him he told me he had ordered a ring and was planning our wedding!

Sheesh, I didn't know what to do so I gently let him know I was going out on a date with someone the next evening. He thanked me for telling him and I never heard from him again.

That was weird. I think he was on the verge of being senile. He was twice my age...around 60.

No she isn't talking about me...I mean...aww come on...me buy a ring???!!!!!!!!!

Ps. a handy hint from Mr.Vachss(my fav author). Tell her that the ring you paid retail for is infact 'hot' and from some violent heist -her knickers will be soaked before her dress hits the floor.
