Default Giving some gifts to a girl I like...What to write on the card.

SO there's this chick I've liked for some time now.

I know she used to like me too however in the past couple of weeks i've become unsure.

It's not that we've stopped talking or anything but last time we met it was slightly awkward between us in terms of anything sexual (so we didn't end up hooking in)

I'm seeing her tonight and plan to bring her some gifts I brought back from paris.

I also got a really nice picture of the eiffel tower I took to write on as a card.

I think she still has feelings for me, but again I'm quite unsure.

Just wanted some help with the wording of my letter.

Hows this?

"dear .......,

happy (late) valentines day! I thought i'd get you these little gifts just to show how much i care about you, at least as a friend.

Much love

Chris"

How does that sound in general?

I'm wondering if the "at least as a friend" part implies that I just want to be friends?

What I mean is to say "even if you dont have those kind of feelings for me anymore" (I do)

But...I can't be that direct.

Cheers

edit: She was away during valentines day but she did say she'd love to be my valentine so...
