Bloodless period? (Question for the womens/doctors)
Okay, so my girlfriend is having all the usual period signs: cramps, mood swings, the whole deal. It's the right time and everything. Except... no blood. I'm not sure exactly how long it's been going on, but according to her she SHOULD'VE been bleeding a while ago (couple days at the least?). Is this something to worry about? When would it become something to worry about, if not? Any ideas about what it could be appreciated.
Thanks.
(Edit: Yes, I'm a worrywart, but I figure better safe than sorry. )

Re: Bloodless period? (Question for the womens/doctors)
If she doesn't have her period within the next 28 days then go to a doctor. When you are younger, your period is still adjusting, and that might mean that it can be late by weeks, or suddenly be early. Especially if she just started the pill. Unless she had a miscarriage, odds are she is just late for a million different reasons.

I see. Thanks a lot. But I thought "late" meant no anything until later... cramps etc. can still start without blood?
Edit: Thanks for making me laugh my ass off, Rizzo.

Re: Bloodless period? (Question for the womens/doctors)
A couple days? That's nothing to be worried about. Some girls are a couple weeks off every month, some are several weeks late every once in a while... when we're still young our bodies haven't regulated it totally yet. One time I missed mine for 4 months. I didn't worry though, because I haven't ever had sex, it was just like a bonus.
Unless she doesn't get it in another few weeks, don't worry.
