As a model...I don't like them. Not that they don't have a purpose and all...more that there are professional "life style" models for these types of ads, and its taking work away from them.

It's the same deal with actresses being on fashion magazines...they have no right to be there, just like these women.

This is an industry wide opinion, not just me being a jealous cunt.

I'm sure they get plenty of work, but I like the concept.

There is a photographer I was talking to the other day who wants to do photographs of older women. I'm still pondering it. I'm just not certain how far I would take it.

I think I would be more comfortable if the photographer was female too.

There's a lot to take in...but I'll try to explain it the best I can

A photoshoot is always late, the time set is not the time it happens. The model arrives and is whisked away by the make-up artist and stylist...

Once you actually start shooting, the first hundred pictures or so are garbage because you're still getting used to this new person taking pictures of you. But after a while you loosen up and things get better from there.

Keep in mind that I've never had a run-in with a pervy photographer, or a situation I wasn't comfortable in. Unfortunately though, alot of girls do.

Wow, that's insane. I'm an hobbiest photographer and I can't stand all that editing. It defeats the purpose of taking a picture in the first place. I love using my digital SLR and awards me a lot more freedom than film but that freedom shouldn't be exploited like that. I keep my editing down to white balance, cropping and dust removal if I'm scanning film.

All that stuff is just plain misleading.

Beauty doesn't have an age. Now though, eye candy and porno stars... That's a different story.

The simple fact is that people are too shallow and too stupid to understand that in twenty years, ten years... Hell even five years a girl that's "beautiful" now won't be "beautiful" then.

This is very important... If he freaks out over an escort, then there might be a problem

2)The exact usage of the images produced from the shoot.

3)Will you be signing a release? And what will be your compensation? ( Not releavant if professional trade)

Everything else are variables, it changes with different photographers and models.

I really like it. I liked that it showed the woman the product was intended for hitting all of the problem areas an aging woman faces. It captured the beauty in the human body even after it's aged a bit. It made me feel a lot more comfortable about what I look like and will look like in 20+ years. I liked the whole 'pro-age' vs. 'anti-age' bit, as well.
