Does anyone have any ideas on how and where to make friends?

I have a cuple but I don't get to see them very often. school is full of chavs and sucks. The only place where I could meet people was at a club where bands played. I even had the corrage to go alone a cuple of times but now it shut down.

So any ideas?

Learn to spell, get a hobby, find new clubs/pubs to go to, make friends at school, go out looking damn fine and meet some pretty boys, get in contact with old friends.. get a myspace???
