No I think you're right man, it's just that it's not THAT common for a guy to actually love a girl to any deep extent, it's the exception rather than the rule.

I was a naive romantic when I was younger, and when I loved a girl I just didn't have any interest in other girls. Other girls seemed the same way I'd see a sister, like I could mentally recognise if they were hot or not, but attraction wouldn't come into it.

I changed a lot since then though, and now I seem to have the same disposition as most guys do. I can still love a girl the same way I used to, it's just a rare thing to happen.

Thats really sad, sounds like youve been "broken". Or maybe its just the fact that years ago there were many more amazing, wonderfull, interesting women. Modern society pretty much screwed that up, most girls have alot less morals and dont need to be anything other then a pretty face to find a partner(i guess that depends on how old you are).

If she is nothing but faithfull to him, respects him and loves him with every fibre of her physical,mental and spiritual being then why does she deserve her other half porking her close friend. Actually that was my exact thought process when I wrote the poetic line you quoted.

But what I didn't say is that if he does it, he should break up with his girlfriend (IMO he should do it anyway, whether he screwed the other girl or not). Though if he does, he shouldn't tell her about it.

HOWEVER - that is conditional on how close the girl's friend is, if they are close friends then it's just not OK to sleep with her on general principle.

I'm young and im not an idealist at all, i'm more of a realist. I have a practical, logical understanding and acceptance of the nature of the world, i dont have some idealized, romantic, magical bullshit view of it.
