Most of those sites are lame, and have a free version but then charge for certain stuff.

It's best to use a site that won't pile up your inbox with junkmail. www.craigslist.org/ (http://www.craigslist.org/) is good because it has real people posting real ads, but there are a lot of fake ones.

I've found good contacts through http://www.gumtree.com/ , that's UK based. I find them better than dating sites. My ad got decent replies, too.
