Default female sexual stimulation and how hormones may have a role to play?

So me and my girlfriend have been together for about 3 years (good for only knowing eachother 2 weeks prior to dating).

She only orgasms via direct stimulation to her clitoris via something very strong (either hand or a very strong vibrator). i've given her oral and the only time I was able to get her off was when i did this, alternating between mouth and hand, for about 1 hour.

she normally takes 30+minutes to get off (even by herself so its not really me).

my first question was, do any of you ladies have something similar, where it takes a LOT to get an orgasm?

any tips any of you can give me (which I will respond with if I have tried it before)?

also, to anyone who knows anything to do with hormones, would it be possible that her estrogen levels are elevated unnaturally? she is prone to being moody and emotionally unstable, especially so around her period (a LOT more than normal). How would one go about controlling these estrogen levels (I was thinking possibly birth control)?

thanks and best regards.

I can't see how taking the pill would make you less moody considering it's hormone.

How old are you both? Because it might just be your age why she stresses easily.

The older I've become the less time it takes, which is something that surprised me. I expected the time to increase, not decrease. But maybe that just goes along with experience and having the same partner for a long time. I'm not sure. Maybe it is hormone related.

I can't really think of any tips. I think it's mostly up to her to explore her own body and take charge of her pleasure. Personally, I would lay off the electronics...but that's just me. (oh...an hour of oral and manual...what a good boyfriend you are...)

Regarding hormones. She should talk to her doctor and have herself tested if she thinks it's a problem.

It's probably because you're more experienced and know yourself and what you're doing a lot better than a lot of young women.

People just need to start becoming more aware of themselves from an earlier age to be honest.

So many people don't like to fly solo...or so it seems. (Although, I rather enjoy it myself.)

Being with someone for a long time can be very beneficial too. A lot of different partners close together really doesn't provide the intimacy needed for some people to explore their self or each other.

But there does seem to have been a change in the level of clitoral sensitivity in the last year or so which I suspect is related to a change in hormones. I should be tested, I think.

being together with her for 3 years allows for us to easily communicate exactly what we want sexually with eachother. Duck In fog, it may make her less moody due to the fact her hormones are out of balance due to her age.

anyway, the reason I ask about hormones is because I have a friend who is a female acrobat who works out a lot, thus increasing her natural testosterone production (shes also on the pill which would cause her estrogen-like hormones to be more balanced).

Shes always in a good mood (never has mood swings, even around her period), has a great sex drive and it takes barely anything to orgasm for her.

I've seen this in other female friends who are athletic.

oc6, may I ask what age bracket you are in?

It makes sense that your time to orgasm would decrease as age goes on due to the decrease in natural estrogen production. This would, in my opinion, allow for natural testosterone production to be more prominent in the female body.

Just thinking aloud, Thanks for the info oc6, i guess time will be the factor in any changes

I can wait though, neither of us are going anywhere

oh and happy valentines ^-^
