Should I keep my girl, or go for this other one?
Ok, so I have been dating this girl Ashley for quite some time now, and it's kind of significant because relationships tend to last less than two weeks with her, and we have lasted almost 4 months.
I love her and everything, I just don't get ample time to see her, because she has a way over protective dad.
Now there is this other girl, Amber, who I see ALL the time, and has made it kinda clear that she enjoys my company. She always makes sure I have plenty of cigarettes, booze, weed, etc. She has said on MANY occasions that the only reason she goes to Trisha's place is to see me, and she isn't shy about sharing drinks, or smokes, or chairs with me or anything (not that that is the most significant indication). When ever we are alone together, she always talks about the future, and how we should run away together, and how if I ever left without her she would be upset as hell. Basicly she is my ideal girl. I don't know that I love her for sure, because we haven't really tried our hand at dating each other, but if things continue going the way they do now, sex would just make it bliss.
Now in your opinion, do you think I should dump Ashley and go with Amber, or keep Ashley and go with Amber, or should I just stay with Ashley?
Please don't flame me on this, I just tend to do the wrong thing in these situations.

lol, if you dump girl number one you'll probably end up missing her. And if you stay with her you'll never know what you could've had with girl two.
Personally id stay with the first one, just because starting completely new relationships can be a hassle and if these girls know each other its not going to make it any easier.
EDIT: grammar.

Could you just do one of those John Tucker moves and be honest with both and see if you can date both?

Re: Should I keep my girl, or go for this other one?
okay okay. I see where you're going with the new relationship hassle. They don't know each other at all. Different upbringing, different grade, different click. I asked them both if they ever heard of each other and they denied up and down. I'm thinking maybe just trying a relationship with Amber would be acceptable. If shes better, then I'll just stay with her and tell Ashley to kick rocks. Though I love Ashley to death and can kinda see missing her. Just cuz I have her now doesn't mean I'm not kinda taking her for granted.

Re: Should I keep my girl, or go for this other one?
i'd usually always say stick with who your with, but this sounds a little different. how are things when your together with ashley? is there that spark? is your only problem the time spent together? would you rather be with ashley if you jsut had more time together? do you see the relationship with her going anywhere, or dying off because of amount of time or some other problem?
talk to amber about it if you decide to go with her. like sit down and be like "as you know, i have a girlfriend. but the thing is, i really like you, and have been noticing you like me. do you think we'd work out? because i'm against cheating, and if you think it's work between us, i'd break it off with my gf. but i wanted your take on the situation before i broke it off with my gf." or something along those lines.
also keep in mind that too much time can be jsut as bad as too little. you end up running out of things to do/ talk about. things start to become too common, and you loose the spark there once was. but then again, that usually happens over a longer period of time, which mean a possibly longer relationship than not being able to see each other at all.

Aren't you dating that psycho chick? The one who cuts herself for every bad thing something is said about her?
If so you must actually love her otherwise just dump her.
But dude, you never see your girl, whats the point in that sort of relationship? Get the new chick and test that out.

I hate immature cunts who have 2 week relationships. Definitely dump her, Amber sounds like a really fun yet cool and laid back girl at the same time.

Obviously he doesn't mean that, AS IT'S NOT REAL CODE. You didn't even include your functions or define your constants.

You have a completely different attitude every time I notice.
Don't be underhanded about it. If you're going to try something with the new girl, then your girlfriend should be aware of it. She deserves that for putting up with you for months.

You should not be in any kind of exclusive relationship, imo.
Btw, if you tend to do the wrong thing...do the opposite of what you would do. It's worth a try anyway. :P

Oeh, your relationship looks SO much like mine a year ago. Exept for we we're together for 4 years. I did brakeup, and regret is an understatement
But...it's nice to have someone around all day and all. So.. maybe you should, but be VERY sure she'll be there with you or your properly fucked. Believe me

Re: Should I keep my girl, or go for this other one?
i just went through a similarish situation.
my (now ex) gf and i saw each other alot. i cared about her far more than most people (but not all, as i found out). we were physical alot (which was nice for one of my first relationships), but the personal connectivity was lacking. there were other problems, but i wont discuss them due to relevancy.
Then, my best friend voiced her interest in me. in all reality, my emotions heavily rely on the ebb and flow of her's. a few weeks ago, i realized i was attracted to her.
so, friday, i broke up with the girl i was with. i knew i cared more about the other person than her. its fairly simple.
listen to your head, not your cock, and you will go far. well, maybe not in the bedroom...

Well the only real major issue is the fact that we don't spend a lot of time together. She pretty much said that if I want to date another chick thats fine, as long as it's just this one time. IDK, you have really good advice here.
BTW, has anyone ever noticed that they give really good advice in regards to relationships top everyone but themselves?

Re: Should I keep my girl, or go for this other one?
If you're seriously considering taking Amber over Ashley then you ought to not be with Ashley at all. A relationship requires equal interest in one another, and it sounds like you aren't interested in being with only her. Therefore you should not be in a relationship with her; it isn't fair to either of you. Dump your girlfriend and give Amber a try.

no, i have been in this relationship for about a year now, and we're really close. this is my 2nd gf. i was with my 1st for about 6 months. i've been though a lot of situations. like with my 1st, we were able to see each other daily. and with this one, in the beginning, there was a time when we didn't see each other outside of school for over a month, and it was hell. so i've got a wide range of experience.
she said you could date someone else? explain. maybe you'd be able to take amber out sometime. the only thing to worry about is sending the wrong message if you want to stay with ashley. don't try to work both of them, because you could then loose them both. maybe see if you can spend more time with ashley. go to dinner with her parents, and have them get used to you and get to know you. then they'll trust you more, and you could see her more.

It's not that they don't trust me, it's that they don't trust HER. She is going to kiss ass all week so she can possibly get out of the house this weekend.
But yeah, she says I can go with another girl if I want, because in the past she cheated on one of her boyfriends.

do you think she'd do it again? because if so, i'd say go for amber.
why don't they trust her? what if you spent time at her house, watching a movie or something. they'd be close, and you'd get time together.

Re: Should I keep my girl, or go for this other one?
sorry to be blunt...the fact that you have counted how long you have been dating for obviously means this relationship is serious... But honestly it appears to me as if you are already looking on the other side of the fence because your grass has already been walked on if you know what i mean...
So therefore i am going to have to say that it has only been four months, and if your already looking for someone else, then perhaps ashley is not going to be good in the long run because you are going to run off with another good looking outgoing girl first chance you get... based on my assumptions of course... but if you truly love her like you say you do...
then keep ashley, and stop being tempted by candy coated chocolate covered nothings... that only taste good for a minute then leaves a permanent aftertaste that tastes like crummy shit
Now i have had relationships with more than one girl before, and they were fun... but if you are already planning on the perfect relationship... then fine... keep your perfect ashley and remember everyday how amazing she makes you feel

Yeah, that bitch Ashley told the cops I was doing coke, so Amber bitched her out, then Ashley got all pissed off that I'm hanging out with Amber, even though Ashley is a cheating BITCH.

I was on the phone with Ashley today, and I called her out about cheating on me, and she got all nervous and quite, then I asked if she was fucking Chad and she said "I'm not a mind reader" and I said "Well you do a DAMN good job of predicting what I'm doing!!" and She said "well you are predictable" so I said "Predict what I'm about to do." She was like "Get pissed and hang up?" me"no" her"Dump me, call me back in 5 minutes, and appolagise?" Me"You're half right, I'm breaking it off, I'm going out with Amber, goodbye *click*"
Good bye bitchy!!

IDK, it tore her up. She just sounds more torn up over the fact that she wasn't the one who got to fuck me over. I feel good about the fact that now I have Amber, a girl who wants me for me, and has way more similar intrests, instead of Ashley, who hates everything I do, and just wanted me for another dick in her snatch.
