I'm drinking by myself again. It didn't start this way, but my buddies all went to bed, so I'm left on my own taking shots of my (cheap shitty) rum waiting to pass out. Sorry for the drunken post.

I have a girlfriend. A girlfriend who I know loves me. A girlfriend who is beautiful and so sweet. A few days ago she surprised me with cheesecake (my favorite) cut into hearts with 'I love u' written on them in frosting. She's sweet, she's sexy, and she is everything I want.

But I can't make myself love her. I know she is everything I want. I know it. All I can think about is how bad I want the girl in my english class, or my poly sci class, or my french class. Not even want to have sex with, not want physically, just want to take out, to take to dinner, to try and make them want me.

I have a girl who is everything I could want, I know that she is everything I could want in a girl, and yet I can't be happy with her.

Whats wrong with me

First of all, theres nothing wrong with drinking alone. I do it every night. But shots arent the way to go. It's better to mix it with something, and drink it slowly.

Secondly, how old are you? It's the nature of man to want what he cant have, espcially at a young age. Theres nothing wrong with you, it just means you're just not ready to settle down right now. Which sucks, because later on you'll look back and wish you met her later, but you cant change it.

Live your life bro. If you want the girl in english class, then pursue her. You have to date around and get this shit out of your system before you can settle down in a committed relationship. It's just the way things go, I'm afraid :\

Hearing you say that is a relief...I'm going through hell with my gf and it's basically the same. We're freakishly compatible, but even though I really want her, I just have this urge to be "on-owned" for a bit and see other girls....even though I know I eventually want to end up with her. I thought it was wrong to feel that way, but after hearing it from someone else, I feel alot better. I sympathize with you Brady...man good luck.
