Clear Cut Answers anyone?
Aight,
So I was sitting on the couch cahtting with a girl who I have been seeing a fair bit, just as friends. Her mum and brother are going away for the weekend and I offered to take her out to dinner while they were away,
ME "we can go as friends..."
HER "No response"
ME "Or we could go out properly?"
Her "yeah ok"
ME (To clarify) "So going out propper then?"
Her: "I don't know"
What
The
Fuck?
Are we going on a fuckign date or not.
This whole getting a new girlfriend thing is really fucking me off. I am happy that my old one of 2 years dumped me but goddamn I forgot how confusing women are.
Anyone want to translate that shit for me? Would be muchly appreciated.

it means:
'I'm distracted by that fly buzzing around the TV set over there. I can't really concentrate on y... oh look, its flying into that picture over, and over, and over again!'
ask her again, but first, open a can of raid on that flys sorry ass, before it usurps her!

Are you saying she is a woman therefore stupid?
I don't quite understand...
Anyone else?
Valid point if I was right though.

Re: Clear Cut Answers anyone?
You fucked up.
For the future you need to either ask in a relaxed fashion ('hey , you fancy going for a meal, my treat?') or make it a clear command ('put your coat on,I'm taking you for a meal at Ali's Salmonella Emphorium').

Did I fuck up though? After she left she kept on messaging me appologising for not being "all there" and for not having asked her mum about the next weekend (like fifteen min after she got home at midnight...)

No, I'm saying she was distracted by something distinctly not you.

Sounds like pretty much what I was saying

Re: Clear Cut Answers anyone?
She wants to date but isn't confident enough to be the one who declares the date, which is what you're asking her to do.
Just make sure she knows without a doubt that this is a date and that's what you want.

It sounds to me like she wasn't paying attention and you kept talking.
Who knows, maybe something good will come of it.

Re: Clear Cut Answers anyone?
You asked too many questions. Makes you seem less confident.
Just state your question clear next time, and ask for a simple yes/no answer.
You haven't fucked it up, she still wants you, just be more confident.
If she fails to give a decent answer, Just say "fine, next time then."
Don't be so nervous. There's plenty of other girls out there who KNOW what they want.

Re: Clear Cut Answers anyone?
You could just try putting your arm around her and show her a little affection.
If you get a negative response youv'e at least saved the price of a meal!
