There's a NEW Mexico?
|
|
Shy guys:
Everybody's bitching about their problems... Can't get a girlfriend, shy around girls, whatever.
I just told a girl I was extremely interested in my feelings about her. Did it work? No. Do I feel like shit? Yes. I feel rejected, exactly as I feared I would. But it feels good to know that I'm not wasting my time anymore, and that it isn't that bad being rejected. The fact that I've been rejected gives me confidence.
So get off your asses.

Excellent. Rejections are good, because it shows you're at least trying.

Re: Shy guys:
It's not about blurting the truth as much as being comfortable with yourself.
That means demonstrating a certain confidence in who you are.
Forget hair, forget weight, forget height, forget symmetry. That shit doesn't matter if she's on edge ready to run.
Display you are comfortable with yourself, that'll make her feel comfortable with herself, and associate it with you.
=One girl.

Just remember CatharticWeek, and everyone else here, all of the confidence in the world wouldn't get Brian Peppers a girlfriend.

It takes a losing man to come from behind.
Take any mean out of that you want.
But yeah dude, knowing you're not wasting your time anymore is the best feeling. Freedom.

Brian Peppers doesn't need consent.
Haha, just saying though. Modifying your behavor is a lot easier than modifying your appearance, and equally as important.

Re: Shy guys:
asking a girl out is like going on an interview for a job you want. Just be calm and be yourself are what they are looking for. If they don't like your resume take it somewhere else.

Well being rejected makes you feel like crap but on the other hand you do acquire some confidence like you said and you know you're a real man for giving it a shot.
But fuck!! I'm still not sure If I should call her and ask her out to the movies.
She likes me and I like her but we haven't seen each other in a long time and we don't know each other too well.
I'm gonna ask her out only if she calls me like I expect it.
I'm such a pussy I know.

Re: Shy guys:
Most people who have no confidence, don't have it for a reason. Confidence is pretty much your inner-belief of what the world around you thinks of you, which in turn makes you self-assured. Sometimes people can have faux-confidence given to them by parents/people trying to be nice, but even people with faux-confidence end up losing it.
So really, if confidence doesn't come naturally to you , there's a reason for that. The reason is most likely something you can't fix, or if you can its very difficult.
Why do girls love confident guys? Because these guys have something to be confident about.
