Default A depressing season....

Considering that this time of year is supposed to be wonderfully romantic due to Valentines Day, I notice many many people having problems with relationships. I can think of many people with troubles, myself included.

So, if this is indeed true, what factors cause this? I would say weather in general, as up here there are short days, generally dreary, and long long cold dark nights. You go to school when the sun has barely risen, and when you return home and it is setting. Coupled with the fact that there are no major holidays upcoming to get away from school, you are in the middle of the year, the end not quite in sight.... do you think it just drives people over? Or am I delusional?

I always have problems with my girlfriend at this time of year. Every year. She becomes pretty self-centered, and I would say any rational person would dump her. Too bad I'm not rational. I stick it out, and it always gets better, though.

So awkward, because Valentines (stupid, stupid holiday) is close and shes been cold and self centered.

So... am I delusional or is this time of year just depressing?
