I'm pretty sure it's over.

I asked for commitment last night, she said she'll have to think about it. I'm happy to give her all the time she needs.

My instinct says this will be a hard choice, for her, but that she isn't going to choose me. My instincts are usually right.

It gets easier every time.

If she's fucking about over you daring to ask for a little commitment, she probably wasnt worth it in the first place.

Now I know what you're thinking "but Lewis, you're a dirty ephebophile too! and she's ULTRA MATURE for her age!". Well I mean, my girlfriend was ultra mature for her age (hell, my IQ is slightly above the Caucasian average and hers is 40 points higher than mine). But she still had 15 year old hormones and 15 year old life/identity crises going on...and I can't hold that against her, but I can't be with her at the present time.

It's such a god damn shame, she's such an amazing person and I love her so much, I would absolutely hate it if she found someone else, but it's the only thing to be done. I can only give her some space and hopefully be with her again in the future.

Yeah I could use the age gap as an excuse or a tool to get over it, but while that would be effective, it would also be a cop out.
