Telling her i love her...
So, some time ago, i met this girl, Dominika, Domi for short. Anyway, i liked her from the start, and later on, i really started to love her. However a while later she had this relationshipship with this really creepy emo-dude with an enormous chin (crimson chin, ftw!)... but that was over quite fast, and say, i kinda helped getting through the period after the breakup, still being in love with her, but not having the guts to tell her. Her friends tell me she talks a lot about me (in a positive way), she says im really sweet to her friends, and she also said this in my face once. I went to watch a movie at hers to, and her parents were at home, so we watched it upstairs, in her room. people have told me this was a hint from her side, but nothing really special happened. I still dont really know if she feels the same way as i do. This is the situation now. I really want to tell her i love her, problem is, i wont be able to see her for at least two weeks, unless theres a ton of people around us at school. And its bothering me. I have to tell her. I wanted to tell her one day when it snows, cause i know she loves snow, and thinks its really romantic. Problem is, it snowed for one day over here... Then i subtly said 'So, its almost valentine's-day'. Turns out she hates valentine's-day, cause she felt lonely then, and never got anything, not even from previous boyfriends. And i wanted to change that, and do something for her then. Of course, something has to go wrong again, and i wont be able to see her, unless the whole school is watching us. I was also thinking about writing her a letter, but knowing her parents, they will read it before her. They are acting like theyre more hol than the pope himself. ... I wasnt planning on telling her on MSN, cause thats just, well, really impersonal (sp?), but as things look now, im really thinking about doing that or not, cause i dont have another choice.
Basicly, what do you think? How/when should i tell her? Should i tell her on MSN, or wait until we have a moment for us two? Any other ideas?
*god, i actually feel like an idiot having to ask things like this on TOTSE... *
never mind... i found out she has someone else shortly after i wrote this...

Re: Telling her i love her...
Don't ask her. Just hangout with her and wait 'till your hitting it off and then move in for the kiss. If she doesn't lean in, then abort and go for the cheek. If it works then afterwards tell her that you like her, (don't say love cuz it will freak her out), and then ask her out.

Re: Telling her i love her...
Mate, she only chases after these other guys because she's looking for love.
She just doesn't realise she already has it

Re: Telling her i love her...
just keep trying. if you really like/love her just keep going at it,but dont tell her yet. i suggest you do that snow thing. wait till it snows call her up and go for a walk in a park, and then stop on a hill and tell her you like/love her.
thats what i would do

Re: Telling her i love her...
You don't truly love her. It's only what you perceive as love.
Unless you've been romantically involved with some one, you can't feel romantic love for them. Only lust, infatuation, strong desire, but not love (platonic love maybe, but still not romantic love).
it may sound cliche, but you're only in love with the idea of her.

This is just wrong. Agnar Mykle got it right when he said that "Love is a lonely thing". We experience it as something shared, but that's an illusion. Even mutual love is unrequited. Besides, why devalue one-sided affections? We all know how intense those feelings can be. To deny that they exist is like denying the wind or the sun.

You don't love her. Get Over It. You think you do , you self-despicable horndog. So, go shut the fuck up, Mr. Romeo.
Love doesn't exist.

Re: Telling her i love her...
sounds like you are being/have been regulated to the friend zone. You gotta stop bein a pussy and make a move or tell her or somethin...if you tell her and she says somethin like "i dont wanna have a rleationship now" but still wants to hang out or whatever DONT DO IT. She'll just use you for your cash and free food, not to mention drives wherever she wants to go. The best advise i can give is MAKE A MOVE, that will be the end of it, for better or worse. (This has happened to a friend of mine for the past 2 years basically...we make fun of him constantly, so try to avoid getting sucked into something like that)

What are you trying to say?
Love doesn't exist because it's designed to make us fuck?
Being in love is more or less being in heat, it exists, and as long as it's mutual, it kicks ass!

Re: Telling her i love her...
Hmm, she could just think of you as a really good friend or maybe she actually has a thing and wants you to make a move. So go neutral for now, keep hanging out, act the same but maybe try more physical contact..arm around shoulder, stuff like that. Gauge how she reacts. Just be observant. If things are looking good, go for the kiss. Good luck

Re: Telling her i love her...
Man I know what your feeling right now and trust me don't bottle it up. Thinking what if, because I met a girl three years ago and this last year we've gotten really close. Being there for her (like I was) after relationship(s) is something alot of girls like.
If your friends with her, good, invite her out to a party or something and when the moment presents itself just say something like, "There's something I've been wanting to tell you...{tell her how you feel here}" Be sure to say if she's not ready for a relationship that's cool but if anything your friendship with her is something you don't want to lose, even if the relationship didn't work out. It will make you feel better you got it out and
I told my friend everything I felt for her and after it I told her for the longest time I wanted her to have this; then kissed her. I don't know why but it was the most intense feeling I've ever felt.
Just tell her and if she feels the same way like people are saying, it's in the bag.

You're wrong. Simple as that.
Sorry kiddo.
One sided love is a whole different ball game to reciprocated love. If you can't grasp that, don't bother responding and just consider your self correct.

As far as I can see, it differs only in that one's reciprocated and one's not. It's possible that having your feelings returned might make them stronger and whatnot, but that's not a universal truth - only likely.
Or I could just say "You're wrong. Simple as that." and pretend my post refuted something.
