Really? Because I remember reading a condom wrapper that stated the condom was 100% effective in preventing the spread of HIV. I guess they were lying...

IIRC you have about a 1% chance of being infected every time you have sex with them (if you're the man, and it's vaginal), and this is even lower if you use a condom.
