We take 'affection' as covering the whole wonderful multicoloured rainbow that are human relationships.(ie parent/child/family/work colleagues/friends and even pets).

You have to have a parent or guardian drive with you even though you're 19? That's very strange to me, but I see you live in Australia so I guess the laws are different there. If not for that problem, I would've suggested you just try to find a friend who would let you stay with him/her while you got on your feet with a job, etc. That's a tough situation.

First of all, how long do you have to go in your college course? It might be time to start thinking about earning money in the now, rather than earning money in the future while spending money you don't have in the now. (Not to mention it seems far too inconvenient.)

Second of all, I think it would be quite simple to forge the yellow book. I mean, a witness is not necessary, at least to get your ps.

First of all, forge the log book, if its at all possible. I don't know how high the security is on the 50 hours, since im not that far yet, if nescessary, pretend its done on multiple cars so they can't check odometers and stuff like that. I mean fuck man, everyone knows you can drive, its no sin to forge that, especially in your situation.

Second, Your father sounds like a fucking good guy, so you do have a chance. So, you're mum spends the money on the horses? You mean she gambles the money away that shes supposed to help you with? Thats fucked. I assume you cant live with your dad for some reason, and he obviously can't afford to buy you and your sister a house. You got a bank account? If not, I would say get one. Have you're dad transfer the money you need to that, you're far more capable of handling money matters than you're mum, from the sound of it.

Have your dad supply your mum with the bare minimum, so she cant piss it away. Pay back her gambling bills, as well as keeping yourselves clothed and fed with the money he has given you (remember its family money, not yours) and use the remainder (presumably a lot more than the remainder thats usually left after shes been through it) for your sister and you: college, school , etc Make sure you give your mum whats required too, just dont let her gamble the money away.

Once you've got that drivers liscence down, she doesn't have you by the balls anymore. You said she's already tried to kick you out and failed, so that won't work.

Tell us if there are other complicating factors, as there almost always is.

Yeah Euda, it was better to see it all in print - and of course easier to find solutions for if these people are full off great posts. You really got nothin to lose, I mean your life seems like fuckin Hell, and you'll still be able to get college in if you play your cards right.
