Well i've been home schooled since 5th grade, but starting next school year I'll be atending 10th grade high school. I've never dated before, my friend tryed to get me dates with girls but I just now told him I'm gay. So I'll try out the whole dating thing, how should I go about finding guys, I can't go and ask every body if they're gay.

Hmmm, where do you live? In all honesty, if you live in a major city it would be a good idea to go to a magnet school.

I spent two years at a regular highschool, and this year I switched to this magnet performing arts and language highschool with kids from all over the city going there, and the funny thing is it is downtown in the ghetto.

But the bottom line is that I have met a lot of faggots and dykes here, and they are much more open about it because they wont get their ass beat for it because it is a very liberal and tolerant school, and because if you ever fight you get sent back to the school you are zoned for, which for most of these weirdos would be a death sentence. In fact, we haven't had a fight here in 3 years.

If you're really open about it and everybody knows you're gay, chances are other gay guys will approach you. Just make sure nobody thinks you're straight, if you really are interested in finding a guy for yourself.

I knew I was gay when I was 13. I came out of the closet at 14, haven't really had a second thought about it since. One of my best friends came out at 12. I think the OP can be pretty certain of what he wants at his age.

My two cents is you'd better be pretty damn sure you're gay before you go telling it to anyone at your high school. When I was a freshman I was going through this really messed up time and I thought I was bi, so I told my best freind and within a week everyone found out. Later I came to the conclusion I wasn't really, but I still got shit from everyone for damn near a year afterward..

I'm not actually a psych major.

I went to a tech school for year and majored in social science.
