I think I'm having trouble conveying my message to girls I like that I'm interested. Either I don't get the point across and they never know, or I do get the point across but they either ignore it, or respond without interest. But I don't know which, because either way I get an uninterested response back. It's really frustrating. I don't know if I should be more forward for fear of scaring them off. It's been so long since I've dated and dealt with that stuff that I've just kind of forgotten how to do it. So what have you guys found that works to let girls know you're interested?

I should add that I'm not talking about meeting the drunk chick in a party and taking her upstairs after ten minutes. I mean meeting girls through other friends or social gatherings and that, talking to them one on one, and going from there. All I end up doing is making more friendships. They're nice, but how do you tell someone you want more than that the nice way, and have it work?

Try becoming a homosexual.

It's a matter of finding the right time, not so late that you've fallen into the friend category, but not so early you come off as creepy.

Just ask them if they want to go somewhere at some point ya know. Just a simple, "want to go to the beach with me this weekend?". They should catch on pretty quick, and if they're not interested, there is always the drunk chick at a party.

Flirt with her. Don't be too direct, just drop hints. If she says she's going to take a shower, ask if you can come over -- stupid stuff like that, ha ha. That's what I usually do, and though they may or may not like me back, at least it puts the message across that I'm into them without being too obvious or seeming too desperate.

I do shit like that. I think it may be that I'm not direct enough. I need to find that happy medium. I need to be meeting people at a faster rate however, I don't get enough practice. That must be it.

Just casually talk with as many people as you can. Get more friendly. I talk to just about every girl, even the ugly ones, and very often the good looking friends notice and take interest in me. Become a huge flirt. It has always worked for me. Most likely if you are interested, she knows. Her response is what matters.

This reminds me of one kid i know, hes the cliche 10 year old in a 16 year olds body, he went on this huge speech on how he wanted to have sex with this girl, and hed let her do anything to to him, and he went on and on right in front of her, the girl slapped him, it was so good
