It turns out this girl, we'll call her Tiffany, invited me to this party on saturday that her friend Melanie is hosting. Well I'm kind of into this girl, and I want to go but theres a few problems:

1) I've never drank, nor do I really have big intentions to

2) I'm athletic, and if I would get caught, I'd probably get in huge trouble with that. I also have a wrestling meet this weekend, which determines if we go to state or not(basically the playoffs).

I've already decided if I make it to the state tournament I won't go, because there's still too much in jeapordy. But if I lose on saturday, and my season ends, I guess I can figure oh what the hey? Right?

I guess all I'm asking of you guys is to give me some of your thoughts about pros/cons of drinking in high school, and how women can influence it.

Do what I did, go to the partys. Get drunk, do drugs and become a unemployed high school drop out, yay!

dont be a bitch seriously 95% of my wresteling team drinks and does shit loads of drugs. How would you get caught if theirs a lot of people if cops come just run just like everyone else and since ur a wresteler u could get them off you if your caught.

forgot also if everyones drinking get some pussy from the girl who's inviting you and even if you dont make playoffs you wont regret it.

Ya know, drugs-drinking-sex and intelligence-atheletic ability-financial success aren't mutually exclusive.

I'm not worried about the drinking affecting my athletic ability, but my school and our athletic department has a strict policy if you get caught with alcohol or drugs.

I'm sure you can get away with the drinking thing, if you think anyone is gonna snitch, disguise that you're drinking, or just act cool not drinking. By the time they do a test, it'll be out of your body I dare say (I did medical research and they tested me 36 hours after I was steaming and I came through without a problem), they'll not see the drinking.

Drugs isn't an issue, at most people might smoke pot, just avoid it casually, or if you really want to go for it. Same instance I was tested, I smoked about an 1/8 of high grade skunk the week before.

Just go and chat to her and socialize with other people, keep all options open, show your a cool guy and meet more friends. More friends, more parties, more potential action.

If the party is after your wrestling match, then go...regardless of if you win or lose.

When I was in highschool (years ago) I was on the wrestling team, wrestled 3 years. The whole time I partied like a rockstar, drank a ton, smoked pot everyday... long story short, I made 3rd in my region for the 172 weight class. If you don't party in HS you'll regret it later....I've heard.

true story, you dont party in highschool, you regret it.

And then when you get to college your more tempted to drink. Here, alcohol is much more prevalant. In which case, you drink more then you need to, because you dont know otherwise, and die.

I wouldnt worry much about the drinking aspect of the party, nothing they can really do. Dont get caught haha.

Drugs, stay away from if your an athelete. Youve got the drug testing in your future for sure, it may not be tomorrow, but its gonna happen sometime.

After I made it to regionals in track, I went to one party. I hardly even drank.

But when I didn't do well and didn't make it to states, I blamed it on the party. I may not have made it had I not gone, but who knows?

... I went to the party because a guy invited me. Totally not worth it.

If you really care about your sport and how you preform, i wouldnt advise going and getting drunk, especially since you dont know your limits or how you will be feeling the next day. And besides, i saw alot of people thrown off teams back in high school for shit like this.

But if you dont have anything serious going, go with the girl and drink a little, but try to limit yourself to just a few drinks, maybe 5 or 6 just because you dont know your limits.

Btw if a girl is inviting you to go to a party with her, it usually means that she is interested in you. Aka come prepared for sex in a back room, closet, yard, or car.

Edit: Oh and you could always go and NOT drink. Just draw some x's on your hands and if anybody says shit about you drinking just yell, "FUCK YOU IM STRAIGHT EDGE!" And then punch them in the face.

There's only a small period of time where you can get "highschool fucked up". It's where you drink a stupid amount of booze, make a cunt of yourself and no-one really cares because everyone was as drunk, if not drunker, than you.

After highschool, getting that fucked up is reserved for birthdays, weddings, funerals and those times where you get all fucked up because you're down or something.

Yea I know. I'd rather fucking not go to college then have my parents pay for part of it and have them dangle it above me for the rest of my life. My dad's always complaining about car insurance and shit, and bills. Basically my mom told me as long as I'm in activities, I don't have to hold a job, but I have one during the summer. I don't need my dad complaining to me about when I'm gonna pay back for the tuition or whatever bullshit.
