How long do you wait for.........?
After breaking up with your boyfriend/girlfriend, How long do you wait to start seeing another person????
Have you dated someone right after a break up??? If so tell your story. I might be in similar situation (I really doubt it but it's possible).

Re: How long do you wait for.........?
Example: If you're breaking up with your girlfriend for another girl, then you can pretty much start dating instantly. But if it's a mutual break up and a girl comes into the picture, wait till you're over your girlfriend before you do anything. Otherwise it's unfair on the new girl. Don't use people to get over other people.
Lastly, if she's broken up with you, you can start seeing new people instantly. Just make sure you're over her and not using the other girl.

Re: How long do you wait for.........?
I broke up definitely with my ex-boyfriend near New Year's and I'm already kind of interested in someone else.
Thing is me and my ex had been breaking up and getting together again since October so I was already grieving the relationship a lot of time ago, with all the fights and being long-distance we were just avoiding the end.
Actually meeting a new guy made me figure I was in a bad relationship and finally move onto something better.
Now this was a different case, usually it takes me a lot more time till I'm over someone and I might stay for some months without feeling like dating till I get enthusiasmed for someone new. I kinda heal quickly. My motto is maximum enthusiasm, minimum suffering, so I give it all in a relationship but when it's over, it's over.

Re: How long do you wait for.........?
After my ex broke up with me around Thanksgiving, I started trying to date someone after about a month. We ended up having sex and it was just awful (for me), so I stopped seeing her.
However, I have recently started seeing someone else and things are going quite well. I think the main reason for this is that I actually like her and didn't just rebound with her.

Re: How long do you wait for.........?
My ex destroyed me about mid-November, and had a new guy about a week later. Bad move on her part because now when people ask me why we broke up, I start vicious rumors. Not really, but I feel its more her fault, even though she managed to make it feel like my fault at first. So then I don't have problems bashing her and her new guy, who are already having problems, and hes showing signs of the abusive relationship guy...
God I can't stop doing it.
