Default help with crush. Crush the crush!

There is a girl my class of whom I have a massive crush on. There is NO way she will even consider m, she is married (I think) but she definatly has a son! Now, I am not interested in pursuing her on a number of reasons:

1) To declare my feeling about her would be selfish and beastly as it would make her uncomfortable and serve no purpose

2) Chances is she is already married, she ahs a kid. Not that i would mind looking after him.

I have noticed that she keeps looking at me in class, with surreptious glances. do you think perhaps she has discovered my secret about her, and is trying to scare me off? I dont know. What i do know is that I do not want to feel this way, I wish to remove her presence from my mind.

I cant help it, i look at her and I begin to think about her in a sexual manner, which is not fair on her. She is a lovely, intelligent and beautiful creature not to be debased by the sweaty fantasties of a goddamn bespecatled idiot with a limp.

Guys you have to help, how do I severe my feelings? If doctors can do it for limbs, why cant a person do it for feelings? please help! To clarify I want to feel nothing at all.

And it never ceases to amaze me that every single person who comes and posts a "OMG I HAVE A CRUSH WHAT DO I DO" has the substandard belief that they're not good enough or out of a league.

I wasn't trying to put you down but my advice was serious. She's married, dude - you really can't do anything about it. Fill your mind with other things.

Edit - well you assume she's married. She has a son. Drop it. :|

Maybe she suspects something, but really, does it matter?

If you plan on not saying anything anyway (which is for the best), it all comes down to how quick you can get over this girl.

Solidus, sorry for narking at you.

Guys....I DONT WANT ANYTHING TO HAPPEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What i am asking is how best to get over her and quickly. Personally, I love tto have the ability to switch my emotions on and off but sadly do not posess that ability. I dont want her to love me, marry me or whatever, I just want to stop being attracted to her! Maybe thinkling of somethong repulsive everytime i start to think about her, would that work?

Like negative associaton?

I think the best chance you have is to actually approach her and get shot down. It's not disrespectful to her so don't think that.

I’ve had this extreme crush on a girl for two years and I suspect the major reason why it lasted so long is that she sent mixed signals. So I constantly thought I had a chance. Maybe if I actually had the courage to do something I could have let it die and If I ever run into her and the situation allows it I’ll ask her out.

Occupy yourself with other activities, and fucking man up and deal with it.

I bet you have a crush not on her but on the image of her that you've built in your mind. Talking with her might make it go away. Try dating other girls.

Doesn't that put you off in the least? That would be the deal-breaker for me.

Wait, I'm a hypocrite. I fell for a woman with a 9 year old daughter.

I guess love/infatuation knows know bounds.

You'll just have to live with it.

It will subside with time though. Just distract yourself with other things/people.

Well, actually I'm pretty much over it now. This was a few months ago. But I definitely know what you're going through. Actually I tend to get really obsessive when I have a crush on a girl, and it can get to be pretty intense and seem like it will never go away.

But it does eventually. So just realize that it's only temporary.
